• Size H (5 mm) hook
• Cotton cord
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch marker

Foundation: Ch 4, turn.
Rnd 1: 10 dc in 4th ch from hk, join into a circle with sl st in top of ch-4. pm.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in ea st around and in sl st - 22 sts.
Rnd 3: (2 sc in the next st. sc in the next st) rep around - 33 sts.
Rnd 4: (2 sc in the next st, sc in the next 2 sts) rep around - 44 sts.
Rnd 5 and 6: Sc in ea st around.
Row 7: Ch 2, dc in ea st around, sl st in top of ch-2.
Row 8 - 35: Ch 3, dc in ea st around, sl st in top of ch-3.
Do not weave in ends.

Cont with the working yarn, sl st in the next 3 sts, turn.
(Ch 3, dc in the next 6 sts, turn), rep 38 times, or until just enough yarn to sew end to bag.
Sew end to the 18th row from the top opening of the bag.
Weave in ends.
Baste the top opening closed with cotton cord. Felt in the washer, checking occasionally to see if the bag is completely felted. When the bag is felted to the desired texture. remove the cotton cord, adjust to the finished shape and let dry in a warm, dry place.
