To maKe his wee mouth..

Chain 2 and make 3 single crochets in 2nd chain form hook.. Fasten off leaving length for sewing. Mouth should resemble a half moon shape. Sew opening (beginning stitch and last stitch) against his head under his trunk. See mouth in photo 15.

To finish off ending face threads...

When you are finished stitching on his face... ending threads should be coming out of head's opening. Puli eyes (beads) in tight and knot threads to secure. Puli remaining face threads snug and knot threads together. Do not

finish off ending trunk and head threads.

After face threads are knotted securely together (leaving trunk and head thread alone)... tuck away face threads inside head to be unseen. Finish stuffing head if you prefer.

To maKe his ears (maKe 2)...

Round 1. Chain 2 and make 5 single crochets in 2nd chain f rom hook (5 single crochets)

Round 2. Do 2 single crochets in each stitch around (10 single crochets) Round 3. (single crochet in the first stitch, 2 single crochets in the next) do 5 times (15 single crochets). Slip stitch into the next stitch and fasten off leaving an 8" thread length for sewing (see photo 16 for ears). If you want larger ears... just make 5 increases spaced evenly per round until you reach your desired size.

To seto on his ears...

Sew ears on where you prefer. I stitched Pee-Wee's ears on between rounds 9 and 10 of head. Make surę ears are sewn on even from the front and looking from the top of (see photos 17 &. 18). When ears are sewn on... run ending ear threads through the inside of his head to the back... outside between rounds 13 A 14. These threads (trunk, head and ear threads) will be used for sewing on his head later.

Close heads opening in the same way that his body is done on page 2. Bring head thread out the backside (same way trunk was done). Set head aside for now.

To maKe arms (maKe 2)...

Round 1. Chain 2... make 6 single crochets in 2nd chain from hook (6 single crochets around)

Round 2. 2 single crochets in each stitch around (12 single crochets)

Round 3. Working in the back of chain loops only... single crochet in each stitch around (12 single crochets) Round 4. Single crochet in each stitch around (12 single crochets)
