Round 5. (single crochet in each of the next 2 stitches, single crochet the next 2 stitches together) do 3 times (9 single crochets)

Round 6. Slip stitch in each of the first 3 stitches, single crochet in each of the next 2, half double crochet in each of the next 2, single crochet in the remaining 2 (9 stitches around)

Round 7. Repeat round 6. (Slip stitches should be madę in previous rounds slip stitches.. etc)

Round 8. Slip stitch in each of the first 3 stitches (again... slip stitch into previous slip stitches), Single crochet in remaining 6 stitches (9 stitches)

Rounds 9-11. Single crochet in each stitch around (9 single crochets).

Stuff arms with fiberfiII

Round 12. (single crochet the next 2 stitches together) 3 times (6 single crochets). Slip stitch into next stitch and fasten off leaving an 8" length for sewing.

To stitch on his nails...

Run white thread through the opening at the top of his arm. Satin stitch over round 3 (see photo 19). After 4 nails are stitched on... run your thread back through to the opening and puli ending threads snug and knot together. Tuck away threads in arms to be unseen.

To maKe his legs (maKe 2)..

Round 1. Chain 2 and make 5 single crochets in 2nd chain from hook (5 single crochets)

Round 2. Make 2 single crochets in each stitch around (10 single crochets)

Round 3. (single crochet in the first stitch, 2 single crochets in the next) do this 5 times (15 single crochets) Round 4. Working in the back of chain loops only.. single crochet in each stitch around (15 single crochets) Round 5. Single crochet in each of the first 2 stitches, (Single crochet the next 2 stitches together) do 5 times, single crochet in the next stitch, single crochet the last 2 stitches together (9 single crochets)

Rounds 6 A 7. Single crochets in each stitch around (9 single crochets)

Round 8. Single crochet in the f irst 4, 2 single crochets in next, single crochet in each of the next 4 stitches, 2 single crochets in last stitch (11 single crochets)

Round 9. Single crochet in each stitch around (11 singles)

Stuff legs with fiber.

Round 10. (single crochet the f irst 2 stitches together) do 5 times (6 single crochets around). Slip stitch into next and fasten off leaving an 8" length of thread for sewing. Repeat "To stitch on his nails" for his feet.

Finished legs

Close arm and leg openings the same way body was closed on page 2. Tuck away only one ending arm thread and one ending leg thread. Run remaining threads through the tops of limbs and out round 9. These threads will be used for sewing on limbs. See threads in photos 20 &
