In patterns a dot indicates where the center of eccentric shapes should be, as in the example below of an eccentric circle.
Teardrop: Hołd the glued part between thumb and finger. Pinch a point on the opposite side.
Fan: Hołd the circle so the glued part is to one side, then make points at the top and bottom. Holding the points between thumb and finger, press in gently on the points to fan it out.
The circle, teardrop and fan are the only eccentric shapes used in these designs. Patterns for a variety of other eccentric shapes are shown on the instruction sheet included with the Ouilling/Designer Board.
