Paint a basccoat

A coat of yellow paint will make the finał paint color look brighter, especially on dark-colored rocks. Use your large brush to paint the whole rock, except for the very bottom. Let the paint dry before you go on. Clean your brush.

Choose a rock

Rocks with fiat bottoms and curving tops work best Scrub your rock clean. If the bottom of your rock is not level, add air-dry day to the wet rock as shown on page 45. Let the day dry overnight before paintmg your rock

Paint the rock orange

Paint the rock orange, which is red mixed with yellow, or choose another color. Let it dry.
