Materials for Cach Child:

1    large and 1 smali paper piąte

2    pink construction-paper ear cutouts

1    pink construction-paper circłe

2    wlggle eyes

1 brass fastener    I

pink tempera paint in shallow trays pieces ot sponge

black marker and glue    '

For each child. use the pattems on page 150 to cul a smali circlo for a snout and two ears from construction paper.

Pirectlons-

f. Sponge pink paint on tbe back of the paper plates: then allow to dry.

2.    Poke a brass fastener through the center of the smaller piąte: then loosely attach this piąte rtear the bottom of the larger piąte. O

3.    Draw two ovals on the snout for nostrils.

4.    Glue the snout over the brass fastener. and add ears and wiggle eyes on the smaller piąte. Give i! a gentle push to make your pig s head swing from side to side¹

Wiggly Worm

Materials For Cach Chłld: V? sheet of 9' x 12* posterboard 1 pink pipę cleaner green tempera paint or marker paintbrush

Clagę Preparatlons:

Use a hole puncher to punch four holes in the posterboard. as shown

Plrection9‘-

1. Use paint or a marker to draw grass on the posterboard.

2-. Allow to dry.

3. Push the pipę cfeaner in and out of the holes to make a wiggly worm
