For skirt, use a styrofoam egg taped to a cardboard cylinder or a styrofoam beli. For bodice shoulders, use a pencil or wooden chopstick. Cover molds with plastic wrap.
For wide skirt, use a smali decanter with a cylinder taped to the lower section. For narrow skirt, use a styrofoam cone with a 4W' aluminum tart pan taped to it to form the trumpet flarę. For sleeves, use a W' cylinder (candle stubs or glue sticks). For bodice, use stiff plastic, bent to form a teardrop, using the wide part for the shoulders. Cover molds with plastic wrap.
Mix 1 tablespoon comstarch with 1 table-spoon cold water. Add BOILING water until mixture measures Yi cup. Cook in microwave (or on stove) until very thick and translucent. Stir well at each stage. Smali angels
Do not starch head. Place skirt, arms, bodice and complete wings into hot stiffener mixture. Moisten well, then squeeze out excess. Place skirt over mold, stretching hem to an even length. Stretch out wings and dry fiat (1). Fold arms in half lengthwise, then bend at ‘elbows.’ Fold bodice in half and drape over mold. Let pieces dry completely. Large angels
Do not starch head and arms. Place skirt, bodice, sleeves and wings into hot stiffener mixture. Moisten well, then sąueeze out excess. Place skirt over mold, stretching longest points to the same length. It may be necessary to hołd the points fiat with a strip of fabric wrapped around the outside. Stretch out wings and dry fiat on plastic wrap. Place sleeves over molds, twisting to accentuate the knitted spiral. Puli the points outward. Fold bodice in half and drape over mold. Let pieces dry completely.
Stuff head with smali amount of poly-ester fiberfill or cotton bali. Puli yarn end tight, darń around loops again, then bring end down to cast-on edge. Using
