Savoir vivre of the conversation
• DO NOT PRESUPPOSE that you know WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR. It May decrease your interest In your interlocutor’s statements or make the talk tendentious.
• GIVE TO YOUR INTERLOCUTOR TIME to find adeqnate words -wait with patience for a moment after the question is raised. It will be an important sign of your interest in listening to your interlocutor.
• CHECK YOUR UNDERSTANDING by paraphrasing and repeating in your own words (e.g. "If I understood you. you can see some other possibilities of providing this service).
• If possible. REFLECT NOT ONLY CONTENT BUT ALSO FEELINGS of the interlocutor (e.g. “I see that you are content with this solution.”) It is an information about sincere intentions of good understanding and is benefitial for the climate of the talks.
