The Grains or the Pores?
SAS eurves show decreasing fractał dimension D for higher pressures.
The expłanation can be that the pores rather 1han grains of SiC are fraetal straetured scatterers (Fig. below).
It was found that for seven powders examined, alł diamond and most of SiC powders have fraetal mierostraeture. Fraetal dimensions strongly depend on pressure applied dnring sampłe preparation for SiC, less in case of diamond.
