A different alr cleaner is now installed in the 2 seater models. It is mounted to the right of the engine on a bracket and has two quicfc release elips. The battery is now to the left of the engine.

An "early cut-in type" generator now starts to charge the battery at very Iow engine revolutions. This will facilitate starting and ensure that the battery is always well charged.

For practical reasons the light and wlper switches are

now situated to the left of the speedometer.

A wide, grooved moulding is now fitted to the instrument panel.

Ali Type 1 two-seater models have the same ashtray as the 1600 Coupe. It is located in the middle underneath the instrument panel.
