Bind (casi) off.

FINISHING_

Finish as givcn for Tiger (omii whiskers).

CAT MITTENS

Using MC only. work iwo mittcns as givcn for Tiger.

FACE. NOSE. EYES AND EARS

Work as givcn for Tiger. using A for the face. pilik for lite nosc. Black for ihe eyes. MC for the outer car and A for the inner car. Finish as given for Tiger.

DOG MITTENS

Using MC only. work two mittcns as given for Tiger.

FACE. NOSE. EYES AND OUTER EARS

Work as givcn for Tiger. using A for the face and outer ears. and lilack for the nosc. mouth and eyes. Finish as givcn for Tiger (omitting inner ears and whiskers).

Gauge (Tension)

18 sis and 18 rows to 4in (I Ocm) measured over k2. p2 rib (slightly stretched) on size 10'A (6.5mm/UK3) needles

SCARF

Using size IOł/2 (G.Gmm/UK3) needles cast on 27 sis.

Row I (KS) SI I. kl. (p3. k2) 5 tintes. Row 2 SI I. pl. (k3. p2) 5 limes.

RIB STITCH SCARF


This warm samplcr scarf is worked in blocks of six different rib patterns and is ideał for practising knitting ribs (sec page 30). The first stitch of every row is slipped 10 give a ncal edge (see page 32).


Scarf measures approx 6in (15cm) wide by 6din (162cm) long
