TRANSMISSION AND CRANKSHAFT 8-5

CRANKCASE

* Remove the crankcase bolts.

Separate the crankcase wlth the special tool.

"¹ 09920-13120: Crankcase separating tool

NOTĘ:

*    Set the crankcase separating tool to the clutch sicie of the crankcase.

*    Keep all the tool arms parallel to the crankcase surface.

*    Separate the crankcase gradually while tapping the crankcase boss and countershaft softly with a plastic hammer.

*    Remove the dowel pins and gasket.

♦    Remove the gearshift cam

Remove the drive shaft assembly ® and countershaft assem-bly ©.

Remove the engine sprocket spacer and two O-rings.
