Installation

• Jack up axle tubę.

•    Remove nut and bolts from shock absorber.

•    Lower jack slowly. Remove shock absorber.

When installing upper end of shock absorber, bush-ing and washers must be located and oriented as shown below.

Inspection

•    Check coil spring for deformation or cracks.

•    Check all rubber parts for wear, cracks, damage or deformation. Replace if necessary.

•    Test shock absorber and compare with specifi-cation in Service Data and Specifications. Replace if necessary.
