ENGINE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Install the engine from the left side. NOTĘ

• Do not damage the radiator fins.

Insert the engine pivot bolt through the swingarm and the engine from the left side, and install the nut; but do not tighten it yet.

Install the engine brackets, cowling stay, engine bracket bolts and engine mounting bolts.

Install and tighten each nut.

TOROUE;

Swingarm engine pivot nut 110 N-m (11.0 kg-m, 80 ft-lb)

Engine mounting nuts (upper/lower)

55 N-m (5.5 kg-m. 40 ft-lb)

Engine bracket nuts

27 N-m (2.7 kg-m. 20 ft-lb)

Install the drive sprocket with its marked side facing out. Install the fixing piąte and tighten the bolts securely.

Install the water hoses securely with the clamps.

Install the following components:

—    Front ignition coils with the stay.

—    Spark pług caps.

—    Canister and PCV (California model).

1(1) DRIVE SPROCKET

(3) FIXING PLATĘ

(1) IGNITION COIL¹

(5) CANISTER
