CLUTCH/GEARSHIFT LINKAGE

Check the needle bearings for wear, damage or loose fit. Check the oil seal for damage.

CLUTCH REM0VAL

Remove the clutch bolts, lifter piąte and springs.

(11 CLUTCH BOLTS

(2) LIFTER PLATĘ

Unstake the clutch lock nut with a drill or grinder. NOTĘ

• Be careful not to damage the shaft threads.

(3ł LOCK NUT WRENCH

(4ł EXTENSION BAR

Install the clutch center holder and remove the clutch lock nut. TOOLS:

Clutch center holder    07923 —KE10000 or

07HGB—001000A (U.S.A. only}

Lock nut wrench, 17 x 27 mm 07716 — 0020300 Extentlon bar    07716-0020500

Remove the washer, clutch center, plates, discs and pressure piąte as an assembly.
