CLUTCH/GEARSHIFT LINKAGE

(1) GEAR HOLDER |(2) PRIMARY DRIVE GEAR

Install the gear holder as shown.

Remove the primary drive gear mounting bolt, pulse generator rotor and primary drive gear from the crankshaft.

Remove the gear holder.

<41 PULSE GENERATOR ROTOR B(3> MOUNTING BOLT

INSTALLATION

Install the primary drive gear with the "OUT" mark facing out. Install the pulse generator rotor.

NOTĘ

• The primary drive gear and pulse generator rotor will only go on in one position because of the extra wide aligning spline.

Temporarily install the clutch outer and install the gear holder as shown.

Tighten the primary drive gear mounting bolts to the specified torque.

TOROUE: 90 N-m (9.0 kg-m, 65 ft-lb)

(1) PULSE GENERATOR^(2) GROMMET

Remove the gear holder.

Install the pulse generator wire clamp and pulse generators, and tighten the pulse generator mounting bolts.

Set the grommet into the groove in the right crankcase.

Install the clutch (page 7-111.
