Align the starter motor case notch with the brush holder tab.

(1) BRUSH SPRINGS (2) ALIGN (3) BRUSHES

Set the brushes on the brush holder.

Install the armaturę into the case.

Set the brush springs.

Install the shims in the same location and number when disas-sembled.

Install the O-ring onto the case.

Install the rear cover, aligning its slot with the brush holder pin.
