ALTERNATOR/STARTER CLUTCH

(1) BOLT

LEFT CRANKCASE C0VER REM0VAL

Remove the lower cowling (page 12-3).

(2) 3P CONNECTOR

Remove the seat and disconnect the alternator 3P connector.

Remove the drive sprocket cover (page 5-8).

Remove the left crankcase cover bolts and left crankcase cover.

(3) CON/ER

STATOR REMOVAL

Remove the bolt attaching the wire clamp. Remove the stator bolts and stator.

FLYWHEEL REM0VAL

Hołd the flywheel with the flywheel holder.

Remove the left-hand thread flywheel bolt and washer.

TOOL:

Flywheel holder    07725 — 0040000

or equivalent commercially available in U.S.A.

NOTĘ

• The flywheel bolt has left-hand threads.
