CLUTCH/GEARSHIFT LINKAGE

INSTALLATION

Install the dowel pin to shift drum.

Install tho spring, drum stoppor arm and washer, and tighton the drum stopper arm bolt.

Install the drum stopper piąte, aligning the hole of the stopper piąte with the dowel pin.

Apply locking agent to the threads of the stopper piąte mount-ing bolt and tighten it to the specified torque.

TOROUE: 12 N-m (1.2 kg-m. 9 ft-lb)

(5) DRUM STOPPER PLATĘ

(4) WASHER

Install the gearshift spindlo, aligning the return spring ends with the gearshift spindle return pin.

Install the oil pipę stay and tighten two the bolts.

Install the oil pipo with a now O-ring onto the oil pipę stay and tighten the bolt.

Install Ihe gearshift pedał (page 5-9).

TOROUE: 10 N-m (1.0 kg-m. 7 ft-lb)

PRIMARY DRIVE GEAR

REMON/AL

Remove the right crankcaso cover (page 7-3).

R«movo the clutch lifter piąte, clutch center, clutch plates and clutch discs (page 7-4).

Romove the pulse generator mounting bolts and pulse ganerators.

Remove the pulse generator wire grommet from the groove in the right crankcase.
