MAINTENANCE

Major odjustmonts ore mado with tho lowor adjuster.

Adjust the free play by loosemng the lock nut and turnmg the adjusting nut. Tighten the lock nut.

Recheck throttle operation. Replace any damaged parta, ił necessary.

CARBURETOR CHOKE

Check that the choke lever moves smoothly. lubricate the choke cable. ii the operat»on is not smooth.

Loosen the choke vałve nut and remove the choke valve frocn the carburetor.

Puli the choke lever on the handiebars all the way back to the tully ON poaition and check for smooth operation of the choke lover.

There ahould bo no froo play.

Check the valve seat on the choke valve for damage. Reinstall the choke vavle in the reverse order of removal.
