MAINTENANCE

BRAKE PEDAŁ FREE PLAY

NOTĘ__

• Adjust the brake padał free play aft ar adjusting the brake pedał height.

Moasure the brake pedał free play.

FREE PLAY: 20 - 30 mm (3/4-1-1/8 In)

If adjustment is necessary, turn the roar brake adjusting nut.

BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH

NOTĘ    _

•    The front brake light switch does not roquire adjustment.

Adjust tho brake light switch so that the brake light will light when the brake pedał is depressed and the brake begins en gagement.

Hołd the switch body and turn the adjusting nut as reguired CAUT10N

•    Do not turn the switch body. The wires may be damaged.

HEADLIGHT AIM

NOTĘ _

•    These adjustments can be done without removing the front

cowllng.

Adjust the headlight vertically by turning the vert»cal adjusting screw.

Turn the adjusting screw clockwise to direct the beam down Adjust horizontally by turning the homontal adjusting screw. Turn the adjusting screw clockwise to direct the beam toward the loft aide of the rider.

NOTĘ

•    Adjust the headlight beam as specified by local ławs and regulations.

• An im pro perty adjusted headlight may bllnd oncoming drlrers, or It may fail to light the road for a safe di stance.
