3. attractants such as sugar to kill cockroaches. Borax cleans. softens water and disinfects and in the laundry room will go a long way toward adding freshness to your clothes.
Castile and vegetable oil based soaps
Find a soap in liquid. solid or powder form that is biodegradable. free of dyes and non-petroleum based. Castile or other plant-based soaps are a great choice and can be used to clean everything. Olive-oil based soap is gentlest to the skin.
An all-purpose liquid soap can be madę by simple dissolving the old ends of bar soap, or grated slivers of bar soap. in warm water. (If doing this remember to avoid using soaps which contain petroleum distillates.)
Citrus solvent
Citrus solvent cleans paint brushes. oil and grease, and some stains. Cornstarch
Comstarch derived from com. can be used to clean Windows, polish fumiture. shampoo carpets and rugs. absorb oil and grease and starch clothes.
Cream of tartar
