“Out at...” means bring the needlc from the back of the work through to the front. “In at...” means take the needle from the right side of the work through to the back. On many sections of this design some holes are used morę than once.

Spare wheel Centre
Out at A in at B Out at C in at D Out at E in at F Continue this sequence until the centre is complete. Ali holes are used twice.
Spokes
Out at G in at H Out at 1 in at J Out at K in at L Continue this sequencc until the spokes are complete.
Tyre
Out at M in at N Out at O i n at P Out at Q in at R Continue this sequence until the tyre is complete. Ali the holes are used twice.
Wheel 1 Out at S in at T Out at U in at V Out at W in at X Continue this sequencc down the wheel to out at Y in at Z.
