Making simple shapes

These simple shapes will feature in the projects to come.

There are lots of basie shapes which you can make to enhance your dough models. Adding a bow or flower here and there will tum your piece into something really special.

Making bows

Take the longer strip and fold each end under towards the back. This strip will form the main part of the bow.

Wrap the remaining shorter strip around the middle of the bow, joining it at the back. Join the bow to the notched strips.

I Roli out some dough and cut three strips the same length as each other and one slightly longer strip.

Join two of the shorter strips together at ari angle to form the dangling ends of the bow. Cut the joined ends into a point and cut a notch into the loose ends.
