CHAPTER 3 • BREAD DOUGH
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap or ding film until you are ready to usc it. Rubbing a littie hand cream on your hands before you start will help to stop the dough from sticking to your fingers.
Bread dough will keep for up to three months if wrapped in plastic wrap or ding film, placed in an air-tight Container and storcd in a refrigerator.
Bread dough is not baked, so it does not crack <provided that it has been well kncaded), it is simply left to air-dry for approximateiy eight hours.
• The finished models will shrink slightly during drying, but this will hardly be noticeable.
• Thin objects which are left to dry on a fiat surface must be turned frequently to stop the sides from curling upwards.
