" ł e : a wide variety of cutters available in ■: .vf shapes, but making your own -'S can be satisfying. Use your own zćrzen and favourite flowers for inspiration.
Roli a tiny ropę of dough in the palm of your hand. Flatten the ropę out and curl it into a bud.
Roli a pea-size bali of dough and press it between your finger and thumb to make a petai shape. Wrap the petal around the bud.
Using a little morę dough, make another slightly larger petal and wrap it around the first petal.
Make another three petals in the same way. Make surę each one i$ slightly larger than the last, wrapping them around the previous petal.
: ror six petals are usually enough to ~a<e a rosę, but you can add morę petals iccording to the size of rosę you want.
Make a smali rosę, but instead of opening the petals, dose them gently with your finger and thumb. Add two smali leaves. Snip the top of the leaves and wrap them around the bud.
Roli out some dough so that it is quite thin. Cul out four leaves with a medium-size cutter. Flatten the round end of the leaf between your finger and thumb.
The stalk end of the leaf will become the petal stem. Join the petals together to make a flower.
Make a hole in the centre of the flower with a cocktail stick.
If you want to add an extra touch to your flowers. buy some decorative stamens. These are available from sugarcraft and catering outlets.
