The most simple of updates - a straightforward addition of new buoyage. If you have access to the tracing, accurately position this over the chart and mark through the smali circle showing the location of the new buoyage. Where possible, the new symbols should be drawn in the exact positions. If there is not enough space to do this, then draw a smali circle on the chart at the correct position. In a elear area of the chart, draw the buoy, light description and light flarę and arrow this into the circle at the new position. As with all updates, add the NM number to the bottom left-hand corner of the chart.
