The Finish
Since the grain is scrongly markccł I testcd scrap pieccs wich linseed and Danish oils and Briwax and Renaissance Wax to discovcr the appropriatc finish. I decidcd upon one coau of Danish oil as it was not too shiny, did not make the grain distracting and it emphasized the shadows.
Danish oil contains tung oil. a natural oil from a tree found in China. It is thinner and faster drying
