In order to complete your cards you will require these additional items:

•    Sticky tape cut into smali picces to securc the ends of the threads.

•    Clear drying gluc or double*sided adhesivc tapc tor finaÅ‚ assembly.

•    A piece of foam, a fek mat or a foldcd Iow cl to proÅ‚ect your work surfacc.

Step One Protccl your work surface. Opcn up the card and with !hc right sidc factrg up. lay a design templatc on the middlc scction.

Step Two Holding the template in place, takc the large pin and prick through cach dot in tum on the template making surÄ™ thal the pin also goes through the card Rcmovc the templatc when the enlire design kas becn completed flint - l/you wish to secure your template to the card with sticky tape, place the tape on and off o cloth teieral limes. This will lakÄ™ offthe excess sttckir.ess yet slill aliow n to adhere to the card withoul leming a mark. To testfirst use the reserse oj the right panel as this will eventuaily be hidden

Step three Cut a length of ihrcad about 2 feet long and thread the nccdlc. (It is better to use sevcr.il shoit threads rather than one long piece as the holes of the card rnay start to wcar away the li lament in the thread and causc it to fray. The underside of your work will be hidden so it docs not matter how many times you scal your threads) Altach the thread to the back of the card. dose to the starting point, with a smali piece of sticky tape, making surc that you do not cover ovet any holes Step Four Follow instructions Tor cach cmbroidcred design, sccuring cach length of thread w ith a smali piece of slicky tape.

To darlfy: “Out ai..mcans bring the necdle from the back of the work through to the front.

"In at..." mcans takc the needle from the right sidc of the woik through to the back Step Five When a design is completed fold under the right hand sidc of Ihc card and glue in place around the edge.
