SEACaRL and BSRG have the opportunity to inorease scientific output and audit scores by operating jointly and exploring synergies. Joint subsurface research will attract grants, students and International cooperation. In view of that, the cooperation/merging of SEACaRL & BSRG under one roof will re-energize and refresh the Geoscience research and curriculum in UTP. South East Asia Clastic & Carbonate Research Laboratory (SEACaRL) are sub-divided into three (3) major disciplines such as; carbonate research, clastic research & basin research. This center will be led by the existing Head of SEACaRL, Dr Mirza Arshad Beg and assisted by Dr Luluan Almanna Lubis as Deputy Head.
