15. Is it possible to find a friend, a partner or fall in love via the internet?
Nowdays the internet techologies let us not only talk with other people by writing a text and
send it to them, but its development created new ways to contact with them like speaking by
the microphones and also watching the person in the internet webcam. It makes the internet a
very useful tool to communicate with people all over the world by different communicators.
The fact we can see and hear the person we talk to by the Internet gives us the same
opportunity to make friends as in the real life. We can feel with the person we meet on the
Internet the same way as we feel with our next door neighbour. The only difference which the
Internet makes is that we can t touch the person we talk to, opposite to the real life where we
can. So if we are able to make friends there, why not try and find a lover on the other side of
the world? If we were lucky enough, we could find the person we are looking for. Someone
could say that only lies go through the Internet, but its not true at all. Great people can be
found too. There a lot of singles looking for their partners just on the Internet. I think it s
possible to make good friends and fall in love via the Internet.
