The Agricultural Office for Basic Slag is a research and information centre for the Netherlands, concern-ed with the applieation of basie slag (Thomas phosphate) in agricułture, horticulture and forestry. The office was estabłished in 1947 by the Steel industry of Western Europę, which delivers basie slag as a product of the Thomas Steel manufacturing process.
