Dear Sir/Madam,

Having over 40 years of history, the In-stitute of Political Science at the University of Wrocław is among the leading political science research and education centres in Poland. This is reflected in the positive as-sessment of the Institute as regards the quality of education madę by the Polish Accreditation Committee. We maintain our leading position by developing effective cooperation with other academic commu-nities, as well as with representatives of the authorities, public administration, the media and the third sector.

The Institute was one of the winners of the 2012 Ministry of Science and Higher Education competition for developing the best programmes based on the National Qualifications Framework and adjusting them to the demands of the la-bour market. This earned the Institute a grant for developing its infrastructure and educational offer. The latter includes Bachelor's and Master's programmes, taught in both Polish and English. We pride ourselves on offering interesting courses in political science and, as one of the first schools in Poland, public policy. Our staff is comprised of people who are passionate about their everyday work, a feature that translates into numerous publications, awarded grants, conducted research projects and wide recognition among academic communities, both in Poland and abroad.
