Central Texas College awards certificates and degrees each year in May. August and Deccmber. A request for certificate or degree must be accompanied by thc appropriate non-refundable fee and submitted to the Central Texas College Site Director by the followingdates:

Ali Central Texas College entrance and course requirements must be complcted bcfore certificate or degree award. OfTicial transcripts and'or GED scores from prcviously attended institutions. if applicablc. must be on filc in the Central Texas College Rccords Office by thc above dates.
Any student who fails to mcct thc above listed graduation deadlincs will be processed in the ncxt available degree order time frame. No student will bc denied a graduation application The graduation datę on the certificate or degree must conform w ith the dates listed above.
Students applying for graduation who do not complete degree rcquirements on or about the graduation datę will be declarcd a non-graduate and will not be eligiblc for graduation fee reimbursement. Students declarcd non-graduates w ill be required to rcapply for graduation and pay an additional graduation proccssing fee.
Since thc duties of military personnel and many other students normally prohibit them from achieving full-timc student status, CTC provides indicators of progress toward the Associatc Degree in the form of certificates. They may filc for a Certificate of Award after both 15 and 30 semester hours havc bcen completed. The certificate indicates skills obtained by the student through courses as outlined in the program chosen by the student.
The student is eligible to receive the 15-hour Certificate of Award upon complction of 15 semester hours of credit in one program area. Ninę of those hours must be taken with Central Texas College. An additional 15 semester hours of credit in the same program arca of study will qualify thc student for the 30-hour Certificate of Award. To receive thc certificate, the student must havc a minimum 2.0GPA.
If a certificate or degree has bcen lost. stolen. or damaged, a rcplaccment may be obtained. An appropriate fee is requircd.
Central Texas College holds one Consolidated graduation exercisc annually at the end of the Spring semester at the Central Campus. Some sites also conduct an annual graduation cercmony in conjunction and coordination w ith the local military authorilies and or other local schools. IX*grecs and certificates will be awarded three times a year for students who are unable to attend the annual graduation excrciscs.
Candidatcs for degrees for Central Texas College may graduate w ith highest honors or honors based on thc follow ing criteria:
• To graduate w ith honors. a candidate must have a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scalę w ith no grades bclow “B” on all coursework taken. In coniputing the candidate's grade point average for honors, the grades in all collegc-level courses taken at Central I cxas College as wrell as courses transferred from other regionally accredited institutions of higher leaming are included. Students repcatmg a course at Central Tcxas College who eam a grade of “A” or "D" will be considcred for honors if all other requirements are met.
• In any graduating class. the studcnt(s) with the highest grade point averagc and who meets all other rcquirements abovc will be designated as graduating with highest honors.
