RETAIL OUTLETS

Antan in cooperation with RKW is planning construction of 30,000-sqm shopping center in Kalisz. The construction of the “Galeria Calisia” shopping-entertainment center is planned in Kalisz (Wielkopolskie Voivodship) in the area of Wojska Polskiego, Serbinowska and Młynarska streets. The developer of the outlet, with
a lease area of approx. 30,000 sqm, is Antan Group,
a German company which has been active on the development market for over 50 years. In addition to Poland, the company builds multi-functional complexes in Germany, Israel and the USA. The investment in Kalisz, designed by RKW (Rhode Kellermann Wawrowsky) Polska, will be put to use in 2011.

Antan Development is also preparing the construction of shopping galleries in Bolesławiec, Strzegom and Ostrów Wielkopolski. We will inform of the details of the investment in upcoming issues of PREM. ■

CF Plus is planning construction of multi-functional complex with area of approx. 40,000 sqm in Gdynia. According to PREM's unofficial information, CF Plus is interested in purchasing land located in the area of Waszyngtona and Hryniewickiego streets in Gdynia from the Dalmor Company. The company is planning to commence cooperation with another entity which will conduct Dalmor's former activity connected with the sea fleet, while CF Plus will build a multi-functional center. Preliminary plans assume the construction of office-hotel-shopping complex with a total area of approx. 40,000 sqm. ■

Planco is seeking general contractor of hypermarket in Warsaw for Decathlon. The Planco engineering company, acting on behalf of Decathlon, a French sports accessories chain, is conducting the procedure of choosing the contractor of a hypermarket on Trasa Toruńska in Warsaw.

We have informed in PREM that this year Decathlon will also commence the construction of hypermarkets in Piaseczno (in cooperation with the Fibat Company) and in Żory (the outlet is being designed by Coplan Polska). ■

CDI is preparing reconstruction of DH Jedynak with area of 4,500 sqm in Bydgoszcz. Centrum Development & Investments (CDI) is conducting advanced preparations for the modernization of the Jedynak department store on Gdańska Street in Bydgoszcz. The outlet, with a usable area of over 4,500 sqm, will be thoroughly modernized and will serve retail functions. After the investment, designed by Paweł Graliński's Arch Magic workshop, is completed, over 3,200 sqm will be available on six stories for retail commerce. The works should be finalized in the fourth quarter of 2011. ■

Construction of a shopping center is being prepared in Krościenko. According to our unofficial information, Stanisław Głuc, the owner of the property located in Krościenko (Małopolskie Voivodship), in the vicinity of the road heading towards Nowy Targ, applied for the amendments to the local spatial development plan. The request concerns the possibility of the construction of retail outlets with an area exceeding 2,000 sqm. This follows from preliminary declarations that a supermarket with
a shopping gallery will be constructed. The works are supposed to be carried out within two years.

Stanisław Głuc is the president of Kinga Pienińska mineral water factory, situated near the future construction site. ■

Budrem Development is planning construction of retail outlet on Wileńska Street in Warsaw. Representatives of Budrem Development have announced that they will build a retail outlet on Wileńska Street in Warsaw. The building will be an exact reconstruction of a XIX-century engine house. The investment will be located on a property purchased from PKP. Budrem cooperates with Tesco and Netto on the construction of retail outlets. ■

Authorities of Sanok want to receive 16.5 mln PLN for lot for construction of shopping gallery. The deadline for submitting a tender deposit of 1 mln PLN in a tender procedure for the purchase of a lot in the area of Staszica and Żwirki i Wigury streets in Sanok (Podkarpackie Voivodship) passes on May 22. City authorities are asking for 16.5 mln PLN for the property, where a shopping gallery with a hypermarket with an area of over 2,000 sqm can be built. ■

Tesco will open hypermarket with area of 7,700 sqm in Galeria Ostrovia in Ostrów Wielkopolski.Tesco has signed a lease contract for almost 7,700 sqm of space for
a hypermarket in “Galeria Ostrovia”, which is being built on Kaliska Street in Ostrów Wielkopolski. Carry (approx. 400 sqm) and CCC (300 sqm) stores will be among stores located in the outlet, which will have a total area of 36,000 sqm. The investment, being carried out by Budrem and commercialized by Cushman & Wakefield, will be completed next year. ■

PRODUCTION AND WAREHOUSE OUTLETS

Dancook will build production complex with area of 10,000 sqm in Goleniów. The Danish company Dancook is conducting preparations for the construction of
a production complex in Goleniów (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship). The investor is planning to build a hall with an area of approx. 3,200 sqm in the first stage and two warehouse outlets with areas of 3,400 sqm each in the next stages.

The company will produce charcoal briquettes, chipboard grill lighters and will deal with the packing and distribution of charcoal. In upcoming weeks the investor will take part in a tender procedure for the purchase of
a property in the Goleniów Industrial Park. ■

Yablunevyj Dar is planning construction of processing plant in Annopol for over 40 mln PLN. The Ukrainian company Yablunevyj Dar from Horodok near Lviv is conducting talks with the authorities of Annopol (Lubelskie Voivodship) concerning the purchase of land for the construction of a fruit processing plant. Representatives of the company are announcing investments of about 10 mln euro (43.7 mln PLN) and employment of 100 people.
A tender procedure for the sale of land will take place this year and construction works, which will take approx.
6 months, are tentatively planned to commence in May of next year. ■

PA Marka is designing Park of Science-Technology in Puławy. The Marka Architectural Workshop has prepared a concept of the Park of Science-Technology, planned on the premises of Zakłady Azotowe (Nitrogen Plant) on Mościckiego Street in Puławy. The complex will consist of three 2-story laboratory-office-production outlets with
a total area of approx. 12,000 sqm. Construction works are tentatively planned to begin next year. ■

Hanke Tissue will build hall with area of ca. 5,900 sqm in Kostrzyn nad Odrą. The Hanke Tissue Company is going through the process of obtaining permits for the construction of a warehouse-production hall in Kostrzyn nad Odrą (Lubuskie Voivodship). The outlet will be a part of the concern's production complex and will have an area of approx. 5,900 sqm. The previous stages of the construction of the Hanke Tissue complex in Kostrzyn were carried out by, e.g., Interbud-West. ■

Koszalin Wood Industry Corporation is seeking contractor of production hall with area of 4,600 sqm. Bids in a tender procedure for the general contracting of
a production hall in Kalisz Pomorski (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship) are being accepted until June 5. An outlet with an area of 4,600 sqm will be built on Wrocławska Street in two stages, until the end of the third quarter of 2010. ■

Rembud is preparing construction of production complex near Włocławek. In the first quarter of this year the Rembud Company conducted administrative procedures connected with the construction of
a production-service complex in Nowa Wieś near Włocławek (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship). The investor is planning to develop a 1.8-hectare property with a plant with an area of 4,100 sqm. The factory will produce aluminum and PVC door and window carpentry. ■

Consortium of Budimex-Ferrovial will build workshop hall with cubature of 41,300 meters3 in Warsaw.
A consortium of Budimex Dromex and Ferrovial Agroman has won a tender procedure organized by Metro Warszawskie (Warsaw Subway) for the general contracting of a technical-workshop building of the Kabaty underground station on Wilczy Dól Street in Warsaw. The second participant in the procedure was Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Komunikacyjnych-7.

The order will pertain to the construction of a 2-story outlet with a net area of 6,600 sqm and a cubature of 41,300 meters3. Documentation of the enterprise was prepared by Pas Projekt Archi Studio. Construction works will be completed within 300 days. ■

LPBP Projprzem will build Mazel plant in Nowa Sól for over 10 mln PLN. On May 11 LPBP Projprzem signed
a contract for the general contracting of a production plant of the Mazel Company in Nowa Sól. The contract, worth over 10.4 mln PLN gross, will be completed by the end of November of this year. ■

Młyny Szczepanki will build warehouse complex near Łasin. In the first quarter of this year the Młyny Szczepanki Company realized administrative procedures connected with plans for the construction of a grain warehousing complex in Szczepanki near Łasin (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship). The investment will include the construction of 15 silos (3500 tons each) along with technical infrastructure. ■

OFFICE BUILDINGS

Polstar plans construction of 19,000-sqm office building in Warsaw according to design by Hermanowicz Rewski. A company with Israeli capital Polstar Investments is preparing the construction of an office building in the area of the intersection of Grzybowska and Przyokopowa Streets in Warsaw. The outlet, which will be 11 stories high with 2 underground stories, will have a total area of approx. 30,000 sqm and a usable area of 19,000 sqm. The building is currently being designed by Hermanowicz Rewski Architekci.

Polstar's main shareholder is Moshe Ben Sira, which had been cooperating with another Israeli company active on the Polish market, Atlas Estates. ■

Grupa 5 will design three office buildings with area of approx. 36,000 sqm in Warsaw for GTC. Grupa 5 is conducting preliminary works for Globe Trade Centre (GTC) on the design of three office buildings, planned in the subsequent stages of the complex at the junction of Domaniewska and Wołoska streets. The outlets will be up to 13 stories high and will have a lease area of approx. 36,000 sqm. Works on the construction of the first outlet will begin early next year. Let us recall that the construction of the third office building of Platinum Business Park is currently in progress and the contractor is Warbud. ■

Architecture and Pracownia Zaleski awarded in contest for 40,000-sqm hotel-office complex in Gdańsk. Baltic Business Center has solved a contest for preparing the architectural concept for the development of a 10.4 hectare lot on Azymutalna Street in Gdańsk-Rębiechów. First place was not awarded, but two equal prizes of 75,000 PLN were won by the Architecture and Pracownia Zaleski workshops. Additionally, Bass, Forma and Schleifer&Milczanowski received honorable mentions and prizes of 25,000 PLN.

The investment, located near the airport, will consist of the construction of a business center with an area of over 20,000 sqm and a 3- or 4-star hotel with 150 rooms (approx. 10,000 sqm) and of a B+ class or A-class office building on a lot with an area of 3.4 hectares, with a total development area of 10,500 sqm. ■

Ghelamco in cooperation with PP Jerzy Chmura is preparing construction of an office center in Wrocław. The construction of “Wrocław Business Park” office complex is planned on Horbaczewskiego Street in Wrocław. The Jerzy Chmura Design Workshop is involved in preparing the documentation of the investment, in addition to the Jaspers-Eyers Company. Ghelamco Poland, the developer of the complex, is already in possession of permission for the realization of the enterprise. Works are planned to begin soon on the contracting project of office buildings with a total area of 75,000 sqm. ■

Hochtief has submitted bid for construction of passenger terminal for 296 mln PLN in Wrocław. Bids were submitted on May 11 in a tender procedure for the general contracting of the passenger terminal of the International Airport in Wrocław. The lowest bid, for over 296.7 mln PLN, was submitted by Hochtief Polska. Budimex Dromex (298.6 mln PLN) and Mostostal Warszawa (329.6 mln PLN) also tried to acquire the contract. Despite being qualified for taking part in the tender procedure, Skanska and Mota Engil did not submit bids.

Works on the construction of the outlet with an area of almost 50,000 sqm will take until the end of March of 2011. The investment will be built on the basis of
a contracting design prepared by J.S.K. Architekci. ■

Wolski and Partners have won tender for preparing design of teaching outlet with area of 20,000 sqm. The University of Gdańsk has informed that the work designed by the Wolski and Partners Architekci workshop from Gdynia has been evaluated as the best bid submitted in
a contest for the architectural concept of the Faculty of Philology. The enterprise will consist of the construction for almost 97 mln PLN of an outlet with an area of 20,000 sqm. ■

AGH is seeking contractor of computer center with area of 10,600 sqm. The deadline for submitting offers with a tender deposit of 700,000 PLN for the construction of a computer center of the AGH University of Science and Technology on Kawiory-Nawojki Street has been set for June 17. Design documentation of the 4-story outlet with an area of 10,600 sqm and a cubature of 55,000 meters3 was prepared by the APA Czech Duliński Wróbel workshop from Krakow. Works are planned to commence in November of this year and should be completed in March 2012. ■

Colosseum will design Słupsk Incubator of Technology with area of approx. 6,500 sqm in Słupsk. The Colosseum Project Workshop has won a tender procedure for documentation of the Słupsk Incubator of Technology. Dedeco, CP Constructions and Studio AG also took part in the procedure. The enterprise, which is being conducted by Pomorska Agency for Regional Development, will include the construction of a 2-story building with an area of approx. 6,500 sqm and a cubature of approx. 25,000 meters3 at 2 Portowa Street. The realization of the investment is planned for late 2011. ■

Erbud will build Tourist Servicing Center for 19.1 mln PLN in Krakow. Erbud has submitted the lowest bid with a gross price of 19.1 mln PLN in a tender procedure organized by the management of Communal Infrastructure and Transport for the general contracting of the Tourist Traffic Servicing Center in Krakow. Eleven other companies are taking part in the procedure. The design of the outlet, which will have an area of 600 sqm and which will be built on the Vistula embankment on Powiśle Street, was prepared by the “IMB Asymetria” Workshop. Works are planned to be completed in October of next year. ■

Gaz-System is seeking contractor of office building with area of 3,300 sqm in Gdańsk. Bids with a tender deposit of 450,000 PLN for the construction of an office building of the Gaz-System office building in the area of Podstoczna and Wałowa streets in Gdańsk are being accepted until June 18. The design of a 4-story outlet with an area of 3,300 sqm and a cubature of 13,300 sqm was prepared by the Rayss Szymański Architekci workshop from Gdynia. The investment is planned to be completed within
24 months. ■

Koszalin University of Technology is seeking contractor of teaching outlet with area of 4,100 sqm in Koszalin. Koszalin University of Technology (PK) is accepting bids with a tender deposit of 70,000 PLN for the construction of the Material Engineering building on Śniadeckich Street. The enterprise, the documentation of which was prepared by the Pas Projekt Archistudio workshop from Nadarzyn, will consist of the construction of an outlet with an area of 4,100 sqm and a cubature of 21,600 meters3. The investment is planned to be completed on August 20, 2010.

Let us recall that the Selfa Company is currently building the seat of the Faculty of Mechatronics with an area of 3,100 sqm for PK and will later build the Environmental Engineering building with a cubature of 21,200 meters3 (3,.700 sqm). ■

Authorities of Elbląg want to spend 27 mln PLN on reconstruction of Old Town City Hall. Bids are being accepted with a tender deposit of 100,000 PLN for the reconstruction of the Old Town City Hall in Elbląg (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship) on Stary Rynek Street. The outlet, with an area of 4,700 sqm, was designed by the Wanda Grodzka's Zakłąd Usług Technicznych from Gdańsk. The contract engineer will be the Bud-Invent Company from Warsaw. The investment, with an estimated value of 27 mln PLN, is planned to be completed on September 30, 2010.

L. Różycki Public Music School is seeking contractor of teaching outlet in Kielce. The deadline has been set for submitting offers with a tender deposit of 500,000 PLN in
a tender procedure for the general contracting for the modernization and development of the L. Różycki Public Music School on Wojewódzka Street in Kielce. The design of the complex, with an area of almost 7,400 sqm and
a cubature of 29,000 meters3, was prepared by the Detan workshop.

The project assumes the construction of, in addition to lecture halls, a concert auditorium for 300 people, a library with a reading room and a complex of workshops. The enterprise, the cost of which is estimated at 21 mln PLN, is co-financed from EU funds. It will be completed by the end of June 2011. ■

Jagiellonian University will spend 3 mln PLN on designing Małopolskie Center of Biotechnology. Bids with a tender deposit of 50,000 PLN for preparing the design of the Małopolskie Center of Biotechnology at Jagiellonian University with an area of 4,200 sqm and
a cubature of 21,700 meters3 are being accepted until June 18. The functional concept of the outlet, located on the premises of 600-lecia Odnowienia UJ Campus, was prepared by the Kontrapunkt V-Projekt workshop. The time for completion of the order, worth an estimated 3 mln PLN, has been set for 15 months. ■

University of Opole is seeking contractor of Biotechnology Laboratory. Bids with a tender deposit of 220,000 PLN for the contracting of the Biotechnology Laboratory of the University of Opole can be submitted until June 1. Works on Kominka Street in Opole should take until March 30 2011. Documentation of the outlet, with a total area of 3,300 sqm, was prepared by Projekt Studio 2000. ■

Budostal-2 has submitted lowest offer in tender procedure for construction of teaching outlet in Opole. Budostal-2 has submitted the lowest bid, worth 10.8 mln PLN gross, in a procedure organized by the University of Opole for the reconstruction of the Faculty of Chemistry on Oleska Street. Other participants in the tender procedure include Oz-Bud (approx. 16.7 mln PLN), consortium led by Flisbud (13.8 mln PLN), Pol-Aqua (15.8 mln PLN), consortium led by Rekonsbud (14.9 mln PLN), Energopol Trade (14.4 mln PLN), Polbau (14.5 mln PLN), consortium IXO Serwis (15.8 mln PLN), consortium Opex (15.5 mln PLN).

The scope of the works will include the modernization of the outlet, with an area of 3,800 sqm, and the construction of a connector with an area of app. 220 sqm. Documentation of the enterprise was prepared by Henryk Witowski's design workshop. Works on the investment will be completed within 18 months. ■

Warsaw Aviation Institute is seeking designer of training center with area of 2,200 sqm. Bids for the reconstruction design of a training center owned by the Aviation Institute in Warsaw on Krakowska Avenue are being accepted until May 18. The functional concept of the 2-story outlet, with a total area of 2,200 sqm and a cubature of 11,000 meters3, was prepared by 77 Studio workshop from Warsaw. The order should be completed within
3 months. ■

UWM in Olsztyn is seeking contractor of teaching complex with area of 6,500 sqm. University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn has announced a tender procedure with a deposit of 315,000 PLN and a deadline for submitting offers set for June 1 for the reconstruction of the Milk and Food Quality Research Center on Oczapowskiego Street. The works will include the development of an outlet with an area of 3,900 sqm up to almost 6,500 sqm. Documentation of the enterprise was prepared by the Akon Design Workshop. ■

HB Unibud will build teaching outlets in Marklowice and Wyry for over 15 mln PLN. HB-Unibud Building Corporation has submitted the lowest bid, with a gross price of 10.9 mln PLN, in a tender procedure for the general contracting of an 8-unit preschool in Marklowice (Śląskie Voivodship). The enterprise, located on a lot with an area of 0.8 hectare on Widokowa Street, will consist of the construction of an outlet with an area of 3,200 sqm and a cubature of 12,800 meters3. The design of the investment, which will be completed within 15 months, was prepared by the Architekt workshop from Rybnik.

HB-Unibud also won the tender procedure for the modernization of a Complex of Schools in Wyry (Śląskie Voivodship). The value of the contract, ordered by commune authorities, is 4.5 mln PLN gross. The outlet, with an area of 2,400 sqm and designed by the “Prokon” workshop, should be completed by September 30, 2011. ■

Grupa 5 will design seat of incubator of entrepreneurship in Olsztyn. The authorities of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn have entrusted the Grupa 5 workshop with preparing the design of the seat of the incubator of entrepreneurship on Prawocheńskiego Street. The date of the completion of the order, worth 406,000 PLN, has been set for August of this year.

The concept for the adaptation of the building of the historic boiler house into an incubator with an area of 2,300 sqm and a cubature of 11,200 meters3 was prepared by the “Studio-Projekt” workshop from Olsztyn. ■

Authorities of Niepołomice are seeking contractor and investor of school for approx. 20 mln PLN. The commune of Niepołomice (Małopolskie Voivodship) have announced a tender procedure for issuing a license for the design and construction of an elementary school. The enterprise will include the construction of a 2-story building with a development area of 3,700 sqm, which will house a school for 300 students along with two gymnasiums, a library and a cafeteria.

Remuneration for the execution of the order will be the right of leasing the outlets to the commune for a period of 20 years. Applications for taking part in the tender procedure are being accepted until May 29. The cost of the investment is estimated at 18-24 mln PLN gross. ■

UWM is seeking contractor for modernization of teaching outlets with area of 2,300 sqm. Bids with
a tender deposit of 200,000 PLN for the modernization of the teaching complex of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn on Słoneczna Street are being accepted until May 21. Documentation of the reconstruction of the outlets, with a total area of 2,300 sqm, was prepared by Miastoprojekt Olsztyn. The works are planned to be completed on September 15 of this year. ■

Walas will prepare design of teaching-sports complex in Świdnica for 533,000 PLN. Authorities of the district of Świdnica (Dolnośląskie Voivodship) have entrusted the “Walas” workshop from Kobierzyce with preparing the design of a sports hall with an area of 2,500 sqm and
a teaching building with an area of 4,200 sqm, as part of the planned Complex of Special Schools in Świdnica. The procedure was carried out as a single-source procurement procedure, after the Walas workshop won the architectural contest for developing the former military area between Parkowa, Esperantystów, Łączna and Hermańska streets. ■

Concret will build library in Chrzanów for over
14.5 mln PLN. The Concret Production and Service Corporation from Tychy has won a tender procedure for the contracting of a library in Chrzanów (Małopolskie Voivodship). The value of the order, which will consist of the construction of an outlet with an area of 3,000 sqm, will exceed 14.5 mln PLN. The concept of the investment was prepared by Stanislaw Lassaer from the PA Nova workshop from Gliwice. ■

Budus has acquired contract worth 12 million PLN for construction of library in Brzesk. We informed in the past days of Budus being awarded with a contract worth
12 million PLN gross for the general contracting of the Regional Education-Library Center. Documentation of the outlet, with a cubature of 17,000 meters3, was prepared by Agnieszka Bil's Authorial Architectural Workshop (Abil). Budimex Dromex, Chemobudowa, ABM Solid, Flisbud, Skobud, Łęgprzem and Murdza also tried to acquire the order. ■

Skobud will carry out modernization of educational building in Krakow for 7.8 mln PLN. Krakow University of Technology has entrusted the Skobud Company with an order worth 7.8 mln PLN gross for the reconstruction of
a teaching outlet on Skarżyńskiego Street in Krakow. PRZ Krakow also tried to acquire the workshop. Project documentation of the enterprise, which will include the modernization of a building with an area of 2,800 sqm and a cubature of 15,000 meters3 and which will be used by the International Urban Planning Training and Study Center, was prepared by Autorska Pracownia Architektury '91. The investment will be completed in September of this year. ■

LB will modernize teaching complex in Szczytno for
7 million PLN. Olsztyn based company LB has made the lowest offer (7 million PLN gross) in a tender, issued by the Szczytno District Starost's Office (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship), concerning the construction of
a complex on Polska Street. The works will comprise the construction of a teaching building with an area of 1,000 sqm and cubature of 4,700 meters3 and modernization of the existing buildings (2,200 sqm). The investment, the documentation for which has been prepared by Olsztyn based office BPBW, is to be finalized by August 2010.

Other candidates for the contract were Giga Konsorcjum, RO.S.A.-BUD, E&S, Ekomelbud, PB Witka, Ostrołęka based Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Komunalnego and Ekobud. The offer made by PHU ABC was rejected on formal grounds. ■

Kłodzko authorities seek contractor for teaching-sports complex with cubature of 11,000 meters3. The Kłodzko commune (Dolnośląskie Voivodship) has issued a tender regarding the construction of a school-sports complex in Szalejów Górny. The investment, situated on a land plot with an area of 2.1 hectares, will comprise the construction of a teaching building with a usable area of 1,200 sqm and cubature of 6,500 meters3, a sports hall (4,500 meters3) and a complex of open-air sports grounds. Applications concerning admission to tender will be collected until 20th May. ■

HOUSING INVESTMENTS

Dom Development prepares construction of residential complex with area of 300,000 sqm in Warsaw-Targówek. Dom Development is holding preparations for the development of a land plot with an area of over 42 hectares in Warsaw-Targówek. A residential complex with over 4,600 flats and shopping-service premises with an area of over 23,000 sqm will be built in a dozen or so stages. The design of the investment is being prepared by the Hermanowicz Rewski Architekci office.

The land plot, situated in the north-eastern part of Targówek (in the area of Wierna and Klukowska streets) is limited on its northern side by the downtown train line running from Warszawa Wileńska to Tłuszcz, which will allow for the construction of the “Park and Ride” type parking lots for the residents of the complex. ■

Siemaszko will build complex with approx. 500 flats in Szczecin. Zakład Budowlany Siemaszko has begun, as investor and general contractor, works on the construction of a residential complex on Powstańców Wielkopolskich Street in Szczecin. The 1st stage, which will be carried out by the end of next year, will comprise the construction of
a 5-story building with 36 flats with usable areas of
26-74 sqm. The complex is going to be comprised, in total, of 9 buildings with approx. 500 flats. The dates of carrying out further stages are not known at the moment.

Let us recall that Siemaszko will also soon begin the construction of the Wzgórza Warszewskie complex on Duńska street, with approx. 100 flats; the complex has been designed by the Format office. ■

Vectra wants to build complex of tenement houses in Płock for 24.4 million PLN. Vectra, as the only participant of the tender, has made an offer with the price of 24.4 million PLN gross for the construction of the “Złoty Róg” tenement houses complex at the junction of Sienkiewicza, Bielska and Kwiatka streets in Płock (Mazowieckie Voivodship). The investment, conducted by the Municipal Social Building Association (MTBS), will comprise the construction of a complex with cubature of 32,200 meters3, with 60 flats with a total area of 3,400 sqm, 10 service premises (approx. 1,000 sqm) and an underground parking lot (1,300 sqm).

MTBS had anticipated the investment cost to amount to 20.5 million PLN and the decision on whether to accept Vectra's offer will be made in the nearest future. Completion of the investment is to take 30 months. ■

CF Plus is planning construction of complex on
12 hectares of land in Swarzędz near Poznań. CF Plus is holding preparations for the construction of a complex of single-family houses in Swarzędz. The company has already purchased approx. 8 hectares of land for the investment and is currently in the process of purchasing another 4 hectares. According to preliminary assumptions, the complex will have approx. 120 houses with a total usable area of 20,000 sqm. A contract with an architect of the complex is to be signed in the nearest future, and the construction should begin next year in the spring. ■

Hausner is planning construction of residential complex with approx. 50 flats in Świebodzin. Poznań based company Hausner is preparing the construction of a multi-family building in the Widok complex in Świebodzin (Lubuskie Voivodship). The works on the building with
50 flats are to begin in the 1st quarter of 2010. ■

Remo-Bud will build residential complex with area of 6,400 sqm in Łódź for 16.2 million PLN. Remo-Bud has made the lowest offer, with the price of 16.2 million PLN gross, in a tender for the realization of the 2nd stage of the Olechów Południe residential complex. Other participants of the tender, issued by the Buildings and Premises Department of the Łódź City Office, are EBM (formerly Mitex), PBO Łódź and Exbud-Interster. The contract concerns the construction of two 4-story buildings with
a total usable area of 6,400 sqm. Works on the investment, the design of which has been prepared by the Formart architectural office, are to be finalized by 30th June 2010.

Let us recall that currently, Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Ogólnego is carrying out the 3rd part of the first stage of the complex, comprised of three buildings with 95 flats with a usable area of 6,200 sqm. ■

Koszalin and Białogard authorities are preparing construction of buildings with approx. 120 flats. The authorities of Koszalin (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship) are planning the construction of residential buildings on Lechicka Street and in the area of Modrzejewskiej and Gnieźnieńska streets. These locations will have some
40 flats each, with areas of 40-50 sqm. A tender for the development of the design, which is to take 5 months, is currently in progress.

Meanwhile, until 28th May, Social Building Association (TBS) in Białogard (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship) will be collecting offers with a deposit of 60,000 PLN concerning general contracting of two buildings on Piłsudskiego Street. The complex with a usable area of 2,000 sqm and cubature of 9,000 meters3 is going to have 35 flats and 4 service premises. Completion of the investment is to take 14 months. ■

Łowicz authorities will erect residential building with 52 flats. Until 18th May, Łowicz City Office (Łódzkie Voivodship) will be collecting offers, along with a deposit of 40,000 PLN, concerning the construction of a 4-story residential building on Gen. Franciszka Włada Street. The building with 52 flats and a usable area of 2,000 sqm, designed by Skierniewice based Zakład Usług Budowlanych Marex, is to be ready by 25th August of next year. ■

HOTELS AND ENTERTAINMENT CENTERS

Jewish Community plans construction of office-hotel buildings with total area of 16,800 sqm in Warsaw. Gmina Żydowska (Jewish Community) in Warsaw is planning the construction of two buildings on Karolkowa Street (No. 15 and 55) in Warsaw. One of them, with
a total area of over 11,500 sqm (including a usable area of approx. 8,400 sqm) and cubature of 35,000 meters3, with
5 above-ground stories and 1 underground level, is to hold office space, service premises, a hotel section and
a synagogue. The second buildings, with 9 stories, two of which will be underground, with a total area of nearly 5,300 sqm and cubature of 13,100 meters3, will hold a hotel with 74 rooms and a conference center.

Architectural concepts of both investments have been prepared by APA Wojciechowski. The procedure of issuing WZiZT (building development conditions) for each of the investments is now in progress. ■

Dalbirnik seeks general contractor for 4-star hotel with area of 8,000 sqm. In the past few days, invitations were sent out to several of the biggest Polish construction companies regarding a tender for general contracting of
a four-star hotel in Woryty (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship). The investment, the developer of which is Belgian company Dalbirnik, will comprise the construction of a building with an area of 8,000 sqm. The design of the investment, the cost of which has been estimated at over
32 million PLN, has been prepared by Olsztyn based company Argo under the direction of Jan Gruszewski. ■

Euromost is preparing construction of hotel in Świnoujście for Horyzont Group. Euromost has prepared preliminary assumptions for a hotel on Bogusławskiego St. in Świnoujście (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship). The investor of the hotel is Gorzów based company Horyzont Group. We have not been able to find out the details of the investment. ■

CKK Architekci prepares concept of four-star hotel in Ustronie Morskie. CKK Architekci office has informed that they have finished working on a concept of a hotel which will be built in Ustronie Morskie (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship). The investment will comprise the construction of a hotel with an area of 3,000 sqm with four-star rooms. The office's representatives did not reveal the name of the investor. ■

Fundacja Balet is planning construction of hotel-teaching complex for over 60 million PLN in Szczecin. Fundacja balet is planning to extend and modernize the historical oil mill on Dębogórska Street in Szczecin. The five-story building with an area of approx. 4,000 sqm is to be extended by another 4,000 sqm and appropriated for the Dom Sztuki (Art House) purposes, which will include
a hotel with 86 beds, ballet school, theater with seats for 450 spectators, restaurant facilities, beauty parlor with rehabilitation center, as well as galleries and art workshops. The cost of the investment is estimated at 61.5 million PLN. The foundation would like to finalize the works by 2012. ■

Lidzbark authorities seek investor for construction of hotel-recreation complex for over 150 million PLN. Until 22nd June, the Lidzbark District (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship) will be collecting applications concerning participation in the realization of “Termy Warmińskie” (Warmińskie Thermal Springs) according to the rules of public-private partnership. The investment, designed by the Ekobud office, is to comprise the construction, in the area of Olsztyńska Street, of a four-star hotel with at least 150 beds and with a conference room,
a complex of roofed and open-air swimming pools with
a total water surface of approx. 2,000 sqm and sports-recreation facilities (such as tennis courts and sports grounds).

Half of the investment, the cost of which is estimated at approx. 35 million EUR gross (152 million PLN) is to be financed from European Union funds as part of the Regional Operational Program. ■

Warsaw Medical University is planning to build Pediatrics Hospital with area of 45,000 sqm. 1st June is the deadline for submitting applications concerning admission to contest for the development of an architectural-urbanistic concept of the Pediatrics Hospital of the Warsaw Medical University. Invitations will be sent out to the qualified candidates on 8th June. The building with an area of 45,000 sqm and cubature of 200,000 meters3 will be situated on the land plot on Żwirki i Wigury Street, owned by the university. The winner will be rewarded with an invitation to sole-source negotiations regarding the development of detailed designs. ■

Asseco wants to carry out works on construction of sports hall on Gdańsk-Sopot border for 123 mln PLN. An offer by Asseco System, with the price of approx.
123 million PLN, has been chosen in a tender for the realization of installation works on the construction of
a sports-performance hall on the border of Gdańsk and Sopot. Due to the protest made by one of the participants of the tender, its results will be confirmed no earlier than the 2nd half of May. The investment should be completed by the end of March of the next year. ■

Chemobudowa makes lowest offer in tender for contractor of Home Army Museum in Krakow. According to our unofficial sources, Chemobudowa made the lowest offer in a tender issued by the Home Army Museum in Krakow concerning general contracting for the modernization and adaptation of the building at 12 Wita Stwosza Street. Completion of the task will take
24 months. The investment, the design of which has been prepared by Katowice based office AIR Jurkowscy, will concern a building with a usable area of 5,400 sqm and cubature of 28,600 meters3. ■

Sports and Water Recreation Center will be built for
30 million PLN in Strzelce Opolskie. The authorities of Strzelce Opolskie are getting ready for the construction of the Sports and Water Recreation Center. The investment, the concept of which has been prepared by K&P Consulting, will be situated on a land plot with an area of
8 hectares and will be carried out in four stages. The first stage will comprise the construction of a roofed swimming pool with the main pool sized 25 x 16m. The 2nd stage is to comprise the construction of a recreation complex with water attractions and saunas, and later on an open-air swimming pool will be modernized and the construction of a wellness and rehabilitation center will begin.

The estimated cost of the whole investment will amount to over 30 million PLN. A tender has recently been issued concerning the design and construction of the 1st part and refining documentation for the 2nd and 3rd stage. Offers with deposit of 100,000 PLN are to be submitted by 20th May. ■

Bud Invest makes lowest offer for supervising construction of roofed swimming pool in Warsaw. Bud Invest has made the lowest (over 350,000 PLN gross) offer for conducting investor's supervision over the modernization of a roofed swimming pool on Inflancka Street in Warsaw. Other candidates for the contract are ZBM Inwestor Zastępczy-WPUI Olsztyn (495,000 PLN), ECM Group (608,000 PLN), Grontmij (625,000 PLN), Bureau Veritas (700,000 PLN), POI Bydgoszcz-Aqua Invest (746,000 PLN), Wadeco-Intertecno (856,000 PLN) and Hill International (1.78 million PLN).

20th May is the deadline for submitting applications concerning admission to tender for general contracting of
a swimming pool. No more than 20 companies will be invited to submit contracting offers, along with a deposit of 800,000 PLN, regarding the realization of the investment, the cost of which has been estimated at 47 million PLN. The works are to begin on 1st August of this year and take
2 years. ■

Nakło authorities repare construction of swimming pool complex with cubature of 20,600 meters3. The mayor of the Nakło on River Noteć city and commune (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship) has issued a tender for the function of supervising inspector for the construction of a roofed swimming pool at the Osiedle Kazimierza Wielkiego residential complex. The investment, designed by APA Archis, will comprise the construction of a building with
a total area of 4,000 sqm (2,400 sqm of usable space) and cubature of 20,600 meters3. Offers, along with a deposit of 8,000 PLN, will be collected until 18th May. The works should begin this July, and they will take 42 months. ■

WBI makes lowest offer in tender for substitute investor for construction of swimming pool in Strzelin. Three offers have been submitted in a tender for substitute investor for the construction of a roofed swimming pool in Strzelin (Wielkopolskie Voivodship). The lowest offer, amounting to approx. 328,000 PLN, has been made by Wrocławskie Biuro Inwestorskie. Other participants of the tender are Miastoprojekt Wrocław (approx. 532,300 PLN) and the consortium of Ekocentrum and Janusz Rybka's Biuro Inwestorskie (approx. 369,000 PLN).

The investment, designed by Krakow based office DKT Expert, will be carried out in the area of Grunwaldzka and Okulickiego streets. The building, the cost of which has been estimated at 17 million PLN, is to be put into use in 2013. ■

Wadowice and Skawina authorities seek contractors for sports halls. Wadowice City Office (Małopolskie Voivodship) has issued a tender for the construction of
a sports hall and dining hall on Sienkiewicza Street. The investment, designed by Tomasz Tumasz from Rybnik based office FUH Architektura, will comprise the construction of a building with an area of 2,700 sqm. Offers, along with a deposit of 80,000 PLN, will be collected until 28th May. The completion of the investment will take 15 months.

The authorities of the Skawina commune will also, until 25th May, be collecting offers with a deposit of 50,000 PLN for the construction of a gym at the primary school in Krzęcin (Małopolskie Voivodship). The construction of
a hall with an area of 1,100 sqm and cubature of 8,000 meters3 is to take 14 months. ■

IGiCHP seeks contractor for finishing works on building with area of 5,000 sqm. 15th June is the deadline for submitting offers with a deposit of 750,000 PLN concerning the realization of finishing works at the Tuberculosis and Pulmonary Diseases Institute building in Warsaw. Documentation of the building with an area of 5,000 sqm and cubature of 21,000 meters3 has been prepared by Warsaw based office Unimed. The works should be finalized by 1st September 2011. ■

Rzeszów authorities will appropriate 33 million PLN for modernization of sports stadium. 9th June is the deadline for submitting applications concerning admission to tender for the construction of a stand at the city stadium on Hetmańska Street in Rzeszów. The contractors qualified to submitting offers will be obligated to leave a deposit of
1 million PLN. The design of the structure with an area of building development amounting to 3,800 sqm, able to hold 4,700 spectators, has been prepared by Warsaw based office ATJ Architekci. The investment, the value of which has been estimated at 33 million PLN, should be finalized by the end of June 2010. ■

Plus Art will design modernization of Film Art Center in Wrocław. Plus Art has made the lowest offer in a tender for the modernization design of the “Warszawa” cinema on Piłsudskiego St. in Wrocław for the purposes of the
4-screen Film Art Center. Works on the investment, the value of which is estimated at 16 million PLN, will take
33 months. ■

KPB and Polbud will erect sports buildings in Podkarpacie region for approx. 10 million PLN. The authorities of Trzebownisko commune (Podkarpackie Voivodship) have entrusted Krośnieńskie Przedsiębiorstwo Budowlane with the construction, for 4.7 million PLN net, of a sports center in Nowa Wieś. It will be comprised of
a tennis hall with an area of 1,500 sqm and a multi-functional building. The buildings, designed by Rzeszów based Zespół Usług Projektowych, should be put into use at the end of November 2011.

In the past few days, a tender was also concluded concerning the construction of a teaching complex on Rubinowa St. in Rzeszów-Załęże. The contract for general contracting of the investment, worth 4.6 million PLN net, has been entrusted to Polbud. Design documentation of
3 buildings with a total area of 2,500 sqm has been prepared by Rzeszów based office “Wispro”. ■

Sanit-Gaz will prepare, for 432,000 PLN, design for modernization of Clinical Hospital in Lublin. Management of Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Lublin has hired “Sanit-Gaz” to prepare, for 432,000 PLN, a design for the extension of D-16 building on Staszica Street. Documentation of the investment with an area of 3,100 sqm is to be ready by 10th July of this year. ■

WAM seeks architect for surgery clinic building with area of 2,000 sqm. 20th May is the deadline for submitting offers concerning the development of a design for the Surgery and Children's Urology Clinic building with an area of 2,000 sqm, planned on M. Skłodowskiej-Curie Street in Wrocław. The contract is to be carried out by 30th November of this year. ■

BeMM Architekci will design, for over 390,000 PLN, sports complex in Uniejów. The authorities of Uniejów (Łódzkie Voivodship) have recently announced that Warsaw based company BeMM Architekci had acquired
a contract, worth over 390,000 PLN, concerning the development of a design for a sports-teaching complex for the purposes of the Schools Complex in Uniejów (Łódzkie Voivodship). Another candidate for the contract was Kołobrzeg based Studio R2.

The complex will be comprised of a 2-story sports hotel (2,500 sqm), 5 sports grounds and a stand for approx. 1,000 spectators, with an area of 1,500 sqm. The design is to be ready by 30th September of this year. ■

Kowalewo Pomorskie authorities seek contractor for sports complex with area of 3.9 hectares. 18th May is the deadline for submitting offers with a deposit of 100,000 PLN concerning the construction of a Sports and Recreation Center in Kowalewo Pomorskie (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship), on Chopina Street. The works will include construction of a 2-story social-administrative building with a cubature of 2,500 meters3, complex of sports grounds and the development of 3.9 hectares of land. Design documentation of the works has been prepared by Włocławek based company “Izol”. The investment is to be finalized by 30th September 2011. ■

Częstochowa authorities issue tender for modernization of roofed swimming pool for approx. 10 million PLN. Częstochowa City Office (Śląskie Voivodship) has issued
a tender for the design and modernization of the municipal swimming pool on Dekabrystów Street. Offers, along with a deposit of 150,000 PLN, will be collected until 26th May. The cost of the investment, which is to be finalized by 30th June of next year, is estimated at 10 million PLN. ■

In June, Mielec authorities will choose contractor of sports hall with cubature of 21,000 meters3. Until 29th May, Mielec commune (Podkarpackie Voivodship) will be collecting offers with a deposit of 100,000 PLN concerning general contracting of a sports hall on Grunwaldzka Street. The contract concerns the construction of a building with an area of 2,100 sqm and cubature of 21,100 meters3. Realization of the investment, the design of which has been prepared by Jerzy Bednarczyk's Radom based office BMP, is to be finalized by 30th June 2010. ■

Sports halls are to be built in Suwałki and Wysokie Mazowieckie. The authorities of Suwałki (Podlaskie Voivodship) have hired the company B Complex to modernize the buildings of the Sports and Recreation Center on Wojska Polskiego Street. The works will comprise the modernization, for nearly 5 million PLN net, of halls with an area of 1,900 sqm as well as an overhaul of technical facilities (1,100 sqm). The investment is to be finalized this November.

18th May is the deadline for submitting offers with
a deposit of 110,000 PLN for general contracting of
a sports hall in Wysokie Mazowieckie (Podlaskie Voivodship). The hall with an area of approx. 1,000 sqm will be situated in the vicinity of the High Schools Complex on 1000-lecia Street. ■

BDiNB will receive 100,000 PLN for designing extension of Uzdrowisko Świeradów health resort. Maria Sarnowska's Biuro Doradztwa i Nadzoru Budowlanego has won a tender for the development of
a design for the extension of the “Słoneczko” sanatorium in the area of the health resort in Świeradów-Zdrój (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). The works will comprise development of documentation for a 5-story building with an area of 1,500 sqm. ■

Wejherowo authorities seek contractor for sports hall with cubature of 8,300 meters3. Wejherowo district authorities (Pomorskie Voivodship) have issued a tender for the construction of a sports hall with a cubature of 8,300 meters3 on Dworcowa Street. Offers, along with
a deposit of 100,000 PLN, will be collected until 2nd June. Works on the investment, designed by Krystyna Juchniewicz's Gdańsk based office, are to be finalized by the end of July 2010. ■

INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENTS

Teerag-Asdag and Intop want to build expressway in Warsaw for 1.1 billion PLN. General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has informed that the consortium of Teerag-Asdag and Intop Tarnobrzeg has made the lowest offer, with the price of approx.
1.12 billion PLN gross, in a tender for the construction of the S-2 expressway, connecting the Okęcie airport in Warsaw with Marynarska Street. The 5 km long road will be ready at the end of 2011. ■

Przedsiębiorstwo Budowy Dróg i Mostów makes offer to build ring road for Mińsk Maz. for 567.4 mln PLN. The consortium of Przedsiębiorstwo Budowy Dróg
i Mostów, with the companies Astaldi, Regionalne Drogi Podlaskie, Mazowieckie Mosty and Warszawskie Przedsiębiorstwo Mostowe “Mosty”, has made the lowest offer, with the price of approx. 567.4 million PLN gross, for the construction of a section of the A2 motorway, which will constitute a ring road for Mińsk Mazowiecki. The most expensive offer for the construction of the 20 km long road, amounting to 781.8 million PLN, has been made by Pol Aqua together with Hungarian company Vegypszer. The investment is to be finalized at the turn of 2011/2012. ■

17 companies interested in building Eastern Poznań Ring Road. Last week, the General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) opened applications from companies interested in taking part in a tender for the construction of the Eastern Poznań Ring road. The companies applying for participation are: J&P Avax, Dragados, Budimex Dromex, Bilfinger Polska, Polimex Mostostal, Mostostal Warszawa, Johann Bunte Bauunternehmung, Mota Engil, Hermann Kirchner, Colas, SRB Civil Engineering, Aprivia, Poldróg, Skanska, Eurovia, Berger Bau and Sando Budownictwo.

The investment will comprise the construction of two sections of the S5 road between Kleszczewo-Czachurki and Czachurki-Gniezno, with a total length of 34 km. The works on the investment will take 22 months. ■

ZIKiT Kraków seeks contractor for underground parking lot with area of 12,600 sqm. 15th June is the deadline for submitting offers, along with a deposit of 700,000 PLN, for the construction of a 3-story underground parking lot (12,600 sqm) in the area of J. Słowackiego Av. and Prądnicka St. in Krakow, along with the modernization of the bus station and development of the square above the parking lot. The contractor's remuneration will be a 40-year-long license for exclusive usufruct of the structure. The investment, the documentation of which has been prepared by Krakow based Grupa Projektowa Proxima, is to be finalized within a period of 12 months. ■

Apeks will design, for 4.8 million PLN, extension of S7 road between Koszwały and Kazimierzowo. Zakład Usług Inżynierskich Apeks has won a tender for the development of documentation for the extension of S7 road between Koszwały and Kazimierzowo (Pomorskie / Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship). The value of the contract, ordered by the Gdańsk Division of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA), amounts to 4.8 million PLN gross. The contract is to be carried out by the end of June 2012. ■

Tarnów authorities plan to build, for over 90 mln PLN, connection between A4 motorway and DW 977 road. Tarnów City Roads Management (ZDM) will soon issue
a tender for the construction of a road connection between the A4 motorway and the voivodship road No. 977 (DW 977). The investment, the cost of which is estimated at
91 million PLN gross, will comprise the construction of approx. 2 km of the road and a bridge as well as modernization of the existing streets. ■

Arcadis and Biprogoo will design, for 4.8 million PLN, road investments in Wrocław. Wrocławskie Inwestycje has ordered a contract worth 2.3 million PLN to the Arcadis architectural office concerning the development of documentation for an integrated transfer point in the area of Euro 2012 Stadium in the Maślice district. The contract will be carried out within a period of 10 months.

Meanwhile, the Biproego office made the lowest offer, amounting to 2.5 million PLN gross, concerning the development of the construction design for connecting the Airport with the Football Stadium in the course of National Road No. 94. Other participants of the tender are Apia CCI (with the price of 2.7 million PLN), Teobodin (3.7 million PLN), OCSC (4.9 million PLN), DHV (6.4 million PLN), Arcadis (6.6 million PLN) and Schuessler Plan (8.3 million PLN). ■

OCSC will prepare, for nearly 2 million PLN, design for road investment in Ciechanów. The authorities of Ciechanów have hired the consortium of OCSC Polska and O'Connor Sutton Cronin & Associates to prepare, for nearly 2 million PLN net, the design of a 14-km-long communal road, connecting national roads No. 50 and 60, voivodship roads No. 617 and 615, and seven district roads. The design of the investment is to be ready within
a period of 7 months.

The remaining offers in the tender were made by: Tebodin SAP Projekt (4.17 million PLN), Kom-Projekt (5.05 million PLN) and GHV Polska (4.06 million PLN). Documentation prepared by the IOSIS consortium was rejected on formal grounds. ■

DEVELOPERS AND CONTRACTORS

Pozbud and Piecobiogaz have signed contracts for construction works worth 18.8 mln PLN net. Pozbud has acquired two contracts worth a total of 13.8 mln PLN from Piecobiogaz from Poznań and entrusted the company with one for 5 mln PLN. Both orders concern the realization of woodwork (7.8 mln PLN) in buildings on Legionów Street in Grudziądz (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship) and works at the seat of Piecobiogaz on Truskawiecka Street in Poznań (6 mln PLN). The third contract will consist of the design and construction a production hall in Słonawy (Wielkopolskie Voivodship) for Pozbud. All orders will be completed by the end of next year. ■

Mostostal Zabrze will carry out works for AE&E Lentjes UK for 26.3 mln PLN. Mostostal Zabrze has acquired an order from AE&E Lentjes UK for the realization of works on the premises of the power plant in Rugeley (United Kingdom). The contract, worth almost
8.8 mln PLN net, will be completed by the end of June. The total value of contracts signed with the British company during the past year amounts to almost 26.3 mln PLN. ■

PRODUCERS OF BUILDING MATERIALS

Bauart is preparing construction of production-warehouse complex in Goleniów. The Bauart Company from Kołbaskowo is preparing the construction of
a production plant in Goleniów (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship) for the Swedish producer of Benders roofing tiles. The investor has already obtained permission for the development of approx. 0.8 hectare. Works should begin in August of this year and the first stage will include the construction of a warehouse with office-social facilities and storage areas. ■

VARIOUS NEWS

Authorities of Koszalin are seeking designer of communication center for approx. 50 mln PLN. The City Council of Koszalin (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship) announced a contest with a total sum of prizes of 190,000 PLN for preparing the architectural concept of the multi-functional outlet “Przystanek Koszalin”, which houses the bus and train stations. The dealine for submitting applications for the procedure, which is being by SARP Koszalin, has been set for May 15 and works will be accepted on October 19 and 20. The cost of the enterprise is estimated at 40-60 mln PLN. ■
