RETAIL OUTLETS

AB Projekt is preparing Gemini shopping center
with area of 107,000 sqm in Tychy.
Józef Kuklok-Opolski, chairman of AB Projekt from Tychy,
is supervising administrative and architectural preparations for the construction of the Gemini Holdings shopping-service gallery in Tychy (Śląskie Voivodship).
The investment will consist of the construction
of a complex with a development area of 65,000 sqm
in the area of Beskidzka and Towarowa streets
on a 13.3-hectare property. Some 77,000 sqm of usable space will be used for retail activity and some 30,000 sqm for services. The investment will be completed
with a parking lot for over 2,000 sqm. ■

BRK is preparing construction of retail complex
with area of 120,000 sqm in Krakow.
In mid April Sebastian Chwedeczko from the Krakow Development Office (BRK) applied to the magistrate of Krakow
for obtaining administrative decisions for the construction of the Auchan shopping-service center in the district
of Bronowice. The enterprise will consist
of the construction of a retail park with an area of approx. 120,000 sqm, which will include Auchan, Ikea
and Castorama outlets. The investment will be completed with office and residential development and a parking lot for 4,000 vehicles. ■

Antan Development is planning construction of shopping center with area of 8,000 sqm in Bolesławiec. The construction of a shopping-office center with an area of 8,000 sqm is being planned on Asnyka Street
in Bolesławiec (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). The investor
of the four-story outlet is the German Antan Development company. The design of the development of the lot,
with an area of 3,800 sqm and located approx. 400 meters from the train station, was prepared by RKW Rhode Kellermann Wawrowsky. ■

Budrem is planning construction of Tesco retail outlets with area of 6,000 sqm in Ząbkowice and Kępno. Budrem Development is conducting preparations
for the construction of Tesco retail outlets in Ząbkowice Śląskie (Dolnośląskie Voivodship) and Kępno (Wielkopolskie Voivodship).

The investment (total area of approx. 3,000 sqm)
in Ząbkowice Śląskie will be carried out in the area
of Ziębicka and Jasna streets on an over 1.1-hectare lot. Documentation of the outlet was prepared by Jarosław Kornik's Design Workshop.

Meanwhile the investment in Kępno (also 3,000 sqm) will be built on the basis of documentation prepared
by Cerprojekt from Poznań. The outlet will be built
on an over 1.5-hectare lot in the area of Młyńska
and Kwiatowa streets. ■

NOMI will soon begin construction of hypermarket
in Dzierżoniów.
Building permission for the construction of a NOMI shopping center in Dzierżoniów (Dolnośląskie Voivodship) was issued last week. The outlet,
the documentation of which was prepared by the Integral Projekt workshop from Warsaw, will have a usable area
of approx. 4,500 sqm, including a sales area of approx. 4,000 sqm. The works on the investment will commence
in June. ■

KPB Inwest is preparing construction of Kaufland shopping center with area of 4,000 sqm in Ząbki.
A shopping center with a Kaufland supermarket will be built in the area of Powstańców, Piłsudskiego and Miła streets in Ząbki near Warsaw (Mazowieckie Voivodship). The enterprise will be located on a lot purchased
from the Septoma Corporation and will include
the construction of an outlet with an area of approx.
4,000 sqm.

Industrial outlets were disassembled in the first quarter of this year. The general contractor of the works is PKB Inwest from Ząbki. In late March PKB representatives and Kaufland plenipotentiaries signed an agreement with city authorities concerning the shape of the traffic system near the planned investment.

PKB Inwest has built Kaufland outlets in, for example, Jabłonna, Skierniewice, Kwidzyń and Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. ■

API is preparing construction of retail outlet with area of 3,500 sqm for Kaufland in Bytów. In mid May
the district authorities of Bytów (Pomorskie Voivodship) issued permission for the construction of a Kaufland retail outlet. The procedure was supervised by the owner
of the property, a physical entity whose name we have not managed to find out. Documentation of the enterprise
was prepared by the API Design Office .The investment
in the area of Wybickiego Street will consist
of the construction of an outlet with an area of over
3,500 sqm with a shopping-service gallery. It will be completed with a parking lot for 200 vehicles. ■

Hill International is seeking contractor of Tesco shopping center with area of approx. 3,000 sqm in Ełk.
Hill International, acting on behalf of Tesco Polska,
is conducting the procedure of choosing the general contractor for a shopping center in Ełk (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship) with a total area of 3,000 sqm.

Two weeks ago we informed that Hill International
and Tesco are cooperating on an investment in Pruszcz Gdański. The design of the outlet was prepared
by the Atelier.com (architecture) and DCS (constructions
and specialized projects). ■

Authorities of Pszów will sell 2.5 hectares for over
2.4 mln PLN for shopping ce
nter. The authorities
of Pszów (Śląskie Voivodship) will soon announce a tender procedure for the sale of a lot with an area of approx.
2.5 hectares where the Apollo cinema and the Mega Astra discotheque used to be located. The value of the property on Pszowska Street is estimated at over 2.4 mln PLN.
The authorities are seeking an investor interested
in the construction of a shopping-service center with office functions. It is unofficially known that a development company from Gliwice is planning to purchase the lot.

The architectural contest for the development
of downtown Pszów along with the property on Pszowska Street was won by Pracownia Urbanistyczna from Rybnik. ■

PRODUCTION AND WAREHOUSE OUTLETS

KTS Kunststoff-Technik will build production complex with area of 10,000 sqm in Goleniów. The German company KTS Kunststoff-Technik is planning to begin
the construction of a production complex in Goleniów (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship) at the turn
of the second and third quarter of this year. The investor
is planning to develop a property located in the Goleniów Industrial Park. The production of plastic containers will be opened there. ■

Vortumnus is preparing 2nd stage of construction
of production complex in Skołoszyn.
The Vortumnus Company is conducting advanced preparations
for the construction of the second stage of the production complex in Skołyszyn (Podkarpackie Voivodship). Besta from Rzeszów is currently carrying out the first stage
of the enterprise, designed by Wiesław Jokiel
from the System workshop from Jasło. Let us recall
that the investment will include the construction
of an outlet with an area of approx. 8,000 sqm, where fruit and vegetable processing lines will be installed. ■

CoBouw will build Hydro-Noval production complex with area of over 7,700 sqm in Słupsk. The Hydro-Noval Company has entrusted CoBouw with preparing the design and the construction of a production hall with a social-office section with a total area of 7,700 sqm in Słupsk (Pomorskie Voivodship). The investor is planning to spend over 6 mln PLN on the enterprise. Sea Navigation apparatuses will be produced in the Słupsk Special Economic Zone on a lot with an area of over 2.6 hectares. ■

Rekoplast will build production plant for over
5,000 sqm in Śrem.
Several days ago the Rekoplast Company received permission for the purchase
of an undeveloped property in the Śrem sub-zone
of the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone Invest-Park.
The corporation purchased over 0.5 hectare of land located in the area of Gostyńska Street. A plant producing rubber products, rubber cover plates and tire elements will be produced there by March 31, 2012. ■

Hereco will build factory with area of 5,100 sqm
in Cielądz.
The Hereco Company from Rawa Mazowiecka (Łódzkie Voivodship) is preparing the construction
of a production plant in Cielądz (Łódzkie Voivodship).
The investment will be located on a 1.6-hectare lot and will include the construction of an outlet with an area
of 5,100 sqm. The factory will produce machine nails.
In April the company received environmental decisions
for the planned enterprise. ■

Carfi will build production plant for approx.
16 mln PLN in Siedlce.
Several days ago the Portuguese Carfi Company received permission for commencing
an investment in the Siedlce sub-zone of the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone. The enterprise will consist
of the construction of a production plant dealing
with the processing of plastics by the end of this year,
for 4 mln euro. Carfi is planning to develop a property
with an area of approx. 2.5 hectares and to employ
70 people. ■

Polatom Institute of Nuclear Power is planning construction of production outlet with cubature of 8,000 sqm.
Offers with a tender deposit of 450,000 PLN for the design and contracting of a building producing for the purposes
of the Polatom Nuclear Energy Institute in Otwock-Świerk (Mazowieckie Voivodship) are being accepted until June 9. Medicinal substances will be produced in the two-story outlet with a cubature of 8,000 meters3. The investment will be completed at the end of July 2011. ■

OFFICE BUILDINGS

Valdi is preparing construction of office-conference complex with area of over 30,000 sqm in Łódź. Waldemar Dzionek, the owner of the Valdi Company,
is preparing reconstruction of the historic complex
of the Ossera spinning mill on Przybyszewskiego Street
in Łódź into an office-conference center. The architectural concept of the investment, with an area of over
30,000 sqm, is being prepared by Archi-Dea from Łódź. The investor is planning to commence works in the second quarter of next year and to complete them within 2 years.

Valdi specializes in the distribution and production
of building materials. The company began the construction of a ceramic tile factory in Stąporków (Świętokrzyskie Voivodship) for 120 mln PLN in the third quarter of last year. ■

Perbo-Projekt is preparing construction of office building with area of 14,500 sqm in Krakow. The Perbo-Projekt Workshop is supervising architectural preparations for the construction of an office building on Zakopiańska Street in Krakow. The enterprise will be carried out
for the purposes of the Action tele-informatics company and assumes the construction of an outlet with a total area of over 14,500 sqm. The investor is currently trying
to acquire permission for the construction. ■

Budimex Dromex and Karmar shortlisted as potential contractors of Jupiter Plaza in Katowice. Budimex Dromex and Karmar have been shortlisted as potential contractors of the Jupiter Plaza office-apartment complex on Sokolska Street in Krakow. Due to problems
with obtaining financing, the final choice of the contractor has been delayed.

Let us recall that the enterprise will be realized
by a company whose main shareholders include the Jupiter National Investment Fund and Krzysztof Brzeski. The new project, for the realization of which permission was issued at the end of last year, will consist of the construction
of outlets with a total area of approx. 40,000 sqm
and a height of over 100 meters. The cost is estimated
at 150 mln PLN. The design was prepared by Wojciech Wojciechowski's workshop.

PSSE is seeking contractor of office complex with area of 20,000 sqm in Gdańsk. The deadline for submitting offers with a tender deposit of 2 mln PLN in a tender procedure for the general contracting of the third stage
of the Gdańsk Park of Science-Technology passes on June 29. The investment, financed by the Pomorska Special Economic Zone, will consist of the construction
of a complex of two office outlets with a total area
of 20,000 sqm. The enterprise will be located
on the premises of the former Gdańskie Zakłady Graficzne between Trzy Lipy and Schuberta streets, next
to the Andrzeja Hakenbergera Roundabout. Documentation of the complex was prepared by the GEL workshop. ■

GCI will build office-laboratory complex with area
of 62,400 sqm.
Gdynia Center of Innovation will announce tender for contracting of the third and fourth stage
of development of Pomorski Park of Science-Technology in June. The enterprise, located in Gdynia-Redłowo
on Zwycięstwa Avenue, will consist of the construction
of a conference-exhibition center with an area
of 19,900 sqm and an office-laboratory outlet
(42,600 sqm). Documentation of the investment, the cost
of which will reach approx. 200 mln PLN, was prepared
by AEC Polska. ■

Skanska will build office building of Regional Court
in Ząbkowice Śl with area of 6,100 sqm.
It was announced several days ago that Skanska General Building Branch in Wrocław has signed a contract worth
27.6 mln PLN gross for the general contracting
of the Regional Court office building in Ząbkowice Śląskie (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). An outlet with an area
of 6,100 sqm and a cubature of 17,600 meters3 will be built on Powstańców Warszawskich Street. Works
on the investment, being supervised by the District Court
in Świdnica, will take 3 years. Documentation
of the enterprise was prepared by R2 Lesław Rubik Project Office. ■

Getmar submits lowest bid in tender for construction
of office building in Tomaszów Maz.
Fifteen bids have been submitted in a tender procedure announced by District Authorities of Tomaszów Mazowiecki (Łódzkie Voivodship) for the construction of the new seat
on Szkolna Street. The lowest bid, worth 14.97 mln PLN, was submitted by Getmar from Tomaszów Mazowiecki.

Other companies taking part in the procedure are: Dorbud (19.9 mln PLN), Pil-Building (22.7 mln PLN), Malton (19.8 mln PLN), Pol Aqua (18.5 mln PLN), Mostostal Warszawa (18.9 mln PLN), Kaza-Bud
(16.9 mln PLN), PB Łódź (19.8 mln PLN), Joka
(17.4 mln PLN), Condite (20.5 mln PLN), Budimex Dromex (16.9 mln PLN), Es-Bud (16.9 mln PLN), RO.S.A.-Bud (19.5 mln PLN), Flisbud (17 mln PLN)
and Murbet (22.3 mln PLN). Documentation of the office building, which will have an area of 5,200 sqm,
was prepared by the KUBI Company from Tomaszów. Works on the investment are planned to be completed
in October 2011. ■

Rzeszów University of Technology is seeking contractor of teaching complex with area of 12,300 sqm. Offers with a tender deposit of 900,000 PLN for the construction of the Regional Teaching-Conference and Library-Administrative Center of the Rzeszów University
of Technology are being accepted until July 2.
The complex planned on Powstańców Warszawy Avenue will have an area of 12,300 sqm and a cubature
of 56,000 meters3. It was designed by Budopol
from Warsaw. Works are planned to be completed within 18 months. ■

16 applications from parties interested in taking part

21 companies have submitted applications in tender
for construction of KUL outlet in Lublin.
MTS, Unit Lublin, Przemysłówka Holding, Dorbud, PB Strus, ABM Solid, Pol Aqua, Warbud, Budimex Dromex, Unibep, Swietelsky, Erbud, Skanska, Elbud, Dombud, Polimex Mostostal, Ekbud, Mitex, Henpol, Flis and Mostostal Warszawa have submitted applications for taking part
in a tender for the general contracting of a KUL (Catholic University of Lublin) teaching outlet.

Five companies will be allowed to submit contracting bids with a tender deposit of 300,000 PLN. Plans include the construction of an outlet with an area of 4,600 sqm and a cubature of 28,000 meters3. Works on the investment, designed by Bieńkowski, Lis, Mierzwa Architekci,
will take until mid June 2012. ■

University of Łódź is seeking designer of Faculty
of Philology with area of 18,000 sqm.
Bids with a tender deposit of 35,000 PLN in a tender for preparing
the documentation of the Faculty of Philology
of the University of Łódź are being accepted until June 25. The outlet will have an area of 18,000 sqm and will be located on Pomorska Street, behind the seats of the Faculty of Physics and Chemistry. Works on the investment will be carried out over the period 2010-2013. ■

Authorities of Białystok are planning to spend 2.7 mln PLN for preparing design of technological park.
Bids with a tender deposit of 50,000 PLN for preparing
the design of the Białystok Park of Science-Technology
are being accepted until June 17. An incubator
of entrepreneurship, a conference center, a technological center, production halls and research-science facilities
will be built on a lot in the area of Żurawia, Borsucza
and Myśliwska streets. Preparation of documentation, worth an estimated 2.7 mln PLN, will take until the end
of July of 2010. ■

Realkapital Partners is planning construction of office-service outlet in Szczecin with area of 8,500 sqm.
The Norwegian investment fund Realkapital Partners
is planning the reconstruction of a tenement house
on Grunwaldzki Square in Szczecin. Offices (4,100 sqm), apartments (800 sqm), services (900 sqm)
and a gastronomy-conference section are planned
in the 5-story outlet. The concept of the enterprise
was prepared by local architects Ryszard Burbicki
and Marcin Burys from the FBA workshop. ■

Atelier Zetta is preparing development designs of Continuing Education Center in Białystok for 196,000 PLN. Atelier Zetta from Białystok has won a tender procedure
for preparing the documentation of the Continuing Education Center building on Żabia Street in Białystok. The design of the outlet, with an area of approx. 2,400 sqm, would be ready by July 15 of this year. Eleven
other companies tried to acquire the contract: Ferma Kresek, Ptaszyński-Rubin Architekci, Barysz Point Line and Ekobud. ■

Authorities of Ełk are seeking contractor for modernization of teaching outlets with area of 10,400 sqm.
Bids with a tender deposit of 200,000 PLN
for the modernization of the Number 6 Complex of Schools in Ełk (Wamińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship) on Kajki Street are being accepted until June 3. Architectural documentation of the reconstruction of the outlets,
with a total area of 10,400 sqm and a cubature
of 44,500 meters3, was prepared by Witold Kowalczyk's Design Workshop from Ełk. Construction works
are planned to be completed in late August 2010. ■

Authorities of commune of Izabelin are seeking contractors of teching outlet with area of 3,200 sqm. Bids with a tender deposit of 150,000 PLN
for the development of the elementary school in Hornówek, Izabelin commune (Mazowieckie Voivodship), are being accepted until June 4. Architectural documentation
of the development of the existing outlet with an area
of 1,000 sqm by an additional 3,200 sqm was prepared
by the A-Z Design Workshop. The investment is planned to be completed in July 2010. ■

PWPW is seeking designer of office building
in Warsaw.
PWPW (Polish Security Printing Works)
is seeking an architectural company for preparing
the spatial-program concept of an office building
at 146 Niepodległości Avenue in Warsaw. The procedure which will lead to the choice of the contractor
for the documentation of the 6-story building is being supervised by Robert Seltenreich. ■

Instalkomfort is preparing design of office building with area of 4,200 sqm in Sochaczew. Infrastructure Management of Warsaw has recently informed of having entrusted Instalkomfort with a contract for preparing
the adaptation design of a former military residential building, with an area of 4,200 sqm and a cubature
of 20,000 meters3, into an office-headquarters building
in the military complex in Sochaczew (Mazowieckie Voivodship). The order should be completed
within 9 months. ■

Elektrobudowa will build Regional Court office building with area of 6,800 sqm in Konin. Representatives of Elektrobudowa have informed PREM that they should soon sign a contract for the general contracting of an office building with a total area
of 6,800 sqm and a cubature of 27,600 meters3 on Chopina Street in Konin.

We have informed in PREM that the investment
will be carried out for the Regional Court by Danbud
from Kleczewo. Representatives of Elektrobudowa have managed to change the verdict of the tender committee.

Documentation of the investment, the completion
of which will take 3 years, was prepared
by the Archistudio-Studniarek workshop from Katowice. The order for investorial supervision, worth 720,000 PLN gross, has been entrusted to the Innowator-Plus Investment Services Office. ■

Mabud will receive 279,000 PLN for design of teaching outlet in Katowice. The authorities of the Medical University of Silesia have entrusted the Mabud Company from Gliwice with preparing the adaptation design
of the former laundry of the Clinical Hospital on Medyków Street in Katowice-Ligota into the Teaching and Medical Simulation Center. The functional concept
of the modernization of the 2-story outlet with an area
of 3,700 sqm and a cubature of 18,800 meters3
was prepared by Wojciech Pawlik from SUM's Investment Department. The date of the completion of the order has been set for 5 months. ■

Authorities of Polkowice are seeking contractor
of office building with area of 6,600 sqm.
Bids
with a tender deposit of 550,000 PLN for building
the Regional Administration Center on Ogrodowa Street
in Polkowice are being accepted until June 15. Copla Polska will carry out the investor's supervision
of the construction of the 6-story outlet with an area
of 6,600 sqm and a cubature of 23,000 meters3. Works are planned to be completed within 26 months. ■

Buchalter will build teaching outlet with area of 3,500 sqm according to FBA's design in Szczecin. Architekci Burbicki, Strzeszewski i Sadowska from the FBA workshop are preparing design documentation of a private high school which will be built on Głowackiego Street in Szczecin
for the Buchalter Company. The investment will consist
of the construction of an outlet with a usable area
of 3,500 sqm on a lot with an area of 2,500 sqm. ■

Elektrotim will design staff building in Powidz
for 382,000.
Military Infrastructure Management
in Poznań has entrusted Elektrotim with a contract worth 382,000 PLN gross for the documentation of a staff building on the premises of the military unit in Powidz (Wielkopolskie Voivodship). The order should
be completed within 200 days. ■

Marbud-Inwest will design teaching complex in Kielce with area of 5,300 sqm. Marbud-Inwest has submitted
the lowest bid, with a gross price of approx. 300,000 PLN, in a tender procedure organized by the City Council
of Kielce for preparing the complete documentation
of an elementary school with a preschool in the Dąbrowa II housing estate. Design works should be completed
within 7 months.

The investment will include the construction
of a complex of outlets with a total usable area
of 5,300 sqm and a cubature of 21,200 meters3, which will consist of a school for 500 students (2,800 sqm),
a preschool (700 sqm), a gymnasium (800 sqm) and
a cafeteria with food preparation facilities (1,000 sqm). ■

Techplan will design modernization of teaching complex with cubature of 57,000 meters3. Techplan has submitted the lowest bid with a gross price of 223,000 PLN in a tender procedure carried out by the District Council
of Warsaw-Mokotów on Kazimierzowska Street. Documentation of the building, with a cubature
of 57,000 meters3, will be prepared by the end
of November of this year. ■

Authorities of Rzeszów are planning construction
of educational complex on lot with area of 4.2 hectares.
The commune of Rzeszów is planning the construction
of an educational complex on a 4.2-hectare lot on Bł. Karoliny Street. The development area of the complex will be 4,300 sqm, including 1,500 to be taken up
by an elementary school, 900 sqm by a middle school and 1,900 by a sports complex. Offers from companies interested in preparing the documentation of the investment will be collected this week. ■

UW-M is seeking contractor of seat of Aquaculture Center with area of 3,500 sqm. The deadline
for submitting offers with a tender deposit of 390,000 PLN for the construction of the seat of Center of Aquaculture and Ecological Engineering at the University of Warmia and Mazury (UW-M) in Olsztyn passes on June 1. Design documentation of the 2-story outlet with an area
of 3,500 sqm and a cubature of 15,300 meters3
on Warszawska Street was prepared by the Arche workshop from Olsztyn. The investment is planned
to be completed in June 2011. ■

Voivodship Police headquarters in Lublin is seeking designer and contractor of police station with cubature of 6,300 meters3. The Voivodship Police Headquarters in Lublin is accepting bids with a tender deposit of 100,000 PLN in a tender procedure for designing and building the V Police Precinct on Koncertowa Street. The investment, on an approx.
0.6-hectare lot, will consist of the construction of a three-story office building with a usable area of over 1,500 sqm and a cubature of almost 5,300 meters3 and a garage-warehouse outlet (300 sqm, over 1,000 meters3).
The enterprise will be completed no later than by May 15, 2013. ■

Nieporęt commune authorities seek contractor
for school with cubature of 9,000 meters
3. Nieporęt Commune Office (Mazowieckie Voivodship) has issued
a tender for the construction of a primary school
in Izabelin. The investment, designed by the Pronabud office, will comprise the construction of a building
with a usable area of 1,900 sqm and cubature
of 9,000 meters3. Offers, along with a deposit
of 100,000 PLN, will be collected until 16th June.
The investment is to be finalized by 30th May 2011. ■

AGP will receive 323,000 PLN for designing bus depot in Głogów. Wrocław based company AGP Sroczyński&Partnerzy will prepare, for 323,000 PLN,
a design of the new Zajezdnia Komunikacji Miejskiej (City Transportation Bus Depot) on Rudnowskiego Street
in Głogów (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). The project is to be carried out by 15th January 2010. Other candidates
for the contract were MBM Firma Konsultingowa, Biuro Usług Projektowych Krzysztof Woźniakowski

MXL4 will prepare design for Transboundary Center for Ecological Education in Zalesie. Mayor of the Police commune (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship) has hired Szczecin based architectural office MXL4 to prepare
a design for the Transboundary Center for Ecological Education in Zalesie. The works comprise adaptation
of the existing building with a cubature of 6,400 meters3 for the purposes of the center and the development
of a land plot with an area of 0.74 hectare. Works
on the contract are to be finalized by 17th July of this year. ■

HOTELS AND ENTERTAINMENT CENTERS

CP Construction acquires contract for designing hotel with 250 rooms in Świnoujście. On 19th May it was announced that CP Construction had acquired a contract for designing and author's supervision over
the construction of a hotel with rehabilitation, conference and SPA center in Świnoujście (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship). The investment, financed by Interferie,
with a total area of 20,000 sqm and 250 rooms,
will be carried out by modernizing and extending
the Barbarka II Center. It has been established
that the contract regarding the development of a design worth over 2.5 million PLN net will be carried out
by the end of this November. ■

Wielka Nieszawka commune authorities seek contractor
for swimming pool and ho
tel with area of over 10,000 sqm. 24th June is the deadline for submitting offers in a tender for general contracting of the Sports and Recreation Center with a total area of approx. 10,600 sqm in Wielka Nieszawka (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship).
The investment will comprise the construction of a hotel (approx. 5,600 sqm) and swimming pool (over 5,000 sqm) on Toruńska Street. The design of the complex has been prepared by Piotr Dominiczak's and Mariusz Szczuraszek's Pracownia Architektoniczna office
from Ostrów Wielkopolski. ■

PDV Architekci design hotel with area of 3,300 sqm
in
Ogrodzieniec. Warsaw based architectural office PDV Architekci has prepared documentation for a hotel
on Podzamcze Street in Ogrodzieniec (Małopolskie Voivodship). The investor, whose name has not been revealed, has already obtained permission
for the construction of a building with a usable area
of 3,300 sqm, but the date of beginning the investment
is not known at this point. ■

Stelmach I Partnerzy win contest for design of “Theater under construction” in Lublin. Stelmach I Partnerzy architectural office has won a contest for the concept
of “Teatr w Budowie” (“Theater under construction”)
and development of Teatralny Square in Lublin, issued by the Lubelskie Voivodship's Marshal's Office. The second prize was awarded to Warsaw based Dedeco, and the third to French architectural office Blond&Raux.

As we have informed, the investment will comprise
the construction of a new “Center for the Meeting
of Cultures”, including a multi-functional hall with seats for 1,200 spectators, modern art gallery and a conference center (cost 134 million PLN), modernization of the Music Theater and Philharmonics (30 million PLN)
and modernization of the square (24 million PLN),
which will include the construction of glass pavilions. ■

90 Architekci office will design education-sports complex in Chotomów, worth 65 million PLN.
90 Architekci office has won first prize in a contest, issued by the Jabłonna Commune Office, concerning
the development of a concept for Education-Cultural-Sports Center in Chotomów near Warsaw. Second place was awarded to the BNS office, and third to the company Forma. The winner will acquire a contract for development of complete design documentation.

The investment will be carried out on a land plot
with an area of 2.2 hectares, in the area of Partyzantów
and Kisielewskiego streets. The complex with an area
of 6,500 sqm will hold a school with a sports hall and
a swimming pool, cultural center and a library. The cost
of the investment is estimated at 65 million PLN gross. ■

Skanska makes lowest offer, 23.4 million PLN,
for construction of swimming pool in Sulechów.

Four offers have been submitted in a tender
for the construction of a swimming pool and modernization of a stadium on Dr Judyma Street in Sulechów (Lubuskie Voivodship). The lowest offer, with the price of over
23.4 million PLN gross, has been made by Skanska.
Other participants of the tender are Erbud
(over 27.2 million PLN), Mitex (over 25.5 million PLN) and San-Bud (over 24.2 million PLN). Design documentation for the building with an area of 3,800 sqm and cubature of 27,000 meters3 has been prepared
by Szczecin based office MXL4. The works should
be finalized by the end of December 2010. The contract
for the project manager function on the Sulechów based investment has been ordered to Zielona Góra based company Diagonal. ■

Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex makes offer worth over 23 million PLN for construction of swimming pool in Żagań.
On 18th May, offers were opened in a tender
for the construction of a recreation-sports complex
on Kochanowskiego St. in Żagań (Lubuskie Voivodship). The investment, being supervised by the Pałac Książęcy Company, will include the construction of a roofed swimming pool with recreation and SPA facilities, tennis courts and a hotel with 10 rooms. Nine companies are participating in the tender; the lowest offer, with the price of over 23 million PLN gross, has been made by Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex.

The design of the complex has been prepared by Krakow based company Usługi Doradztwa Technicznego I Menadżerskie DKT Expert. The construction works are
to be carried out by the end of November 2010. ■

Poznań authorities seek architect for sports hall
for 60 million PLN.
The President of Poznań has issued
a tender for the development of a design for a sports hall. The hall with seats for 2,500 spectators, the cost of which is estimated at 60 million PLN gross, is to be situated
on Pułaskiego Street. Offers with a deposit of 12,000 PLN will be collected until 25th June. Completion of the contract is to take 7 months. ■

Jagielloński University seeks architect for aqua park worth approx. 80 million PLN. 25th June is the deadline for submitting offers, along with a deposit of 35,000 PLN, in a tender for the design of a complex of roofed swimming pools with seats for approx. 1,500 spectators. The complex, planned on Gronostajowa St. in Krakow, will be carried out for the purposes of Jagielloński University.
The investment, the value of which has been estimated
at 80 million PLN, is to be financed in half by the Ministry of Sports. The cost of documentation development will amount to approx. 1.3 million PLN. ■

Budimex Dromex will build, for over 54 million PLN, sports-performance hall in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. Representatives of the Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski City Office have announced that the offer (54.6 million PLN) presented by Budimex Dromex has been considered best
in a tender for the contracting of a sports-performance hall. The consortium of Warbud, Ostrowiecki Kombinat Budowlany and WKS Ostrowiec, who offered the lowest price for the construction of the hall, has been excluded from the tender. ■

Portico is preparing construction of Multikino
in Radom according to design by Broadway Malyan.
Portico Project Management is managing the construction project of Multikino multi-screen cinema in Radom.
The investment has been designed by Broadway Malyan and will comprise the construction of a building
with a total area of nearly 5,000 sqm, with six rooms
for approx. 1,200 spectators. The investment will constitute a part of the “Galeria Słoneczna” shopping mall,
which will be built on Chrobrego Street by AIG Lincoln. ■

Wejherowo authorities will spend 57 million PLN
on construction of Kaszubska Philharmonics.
2nd July is the deadline for submitting offers, along with a deposit
of 500,000 PLN, concerning the construction
of the Kaszubska Philharmonics' seat in Wejherowo (Pomorskie Voivodship) on Sobieskiego Street.
The building with an area of 6,500 sqm and cubature
of 53,500 meters3 has been designed by the consortium established by Opole based companies “Biuro Inżynierskie” and “Arch-Studio”. The investment,
worth approx. 57 million PLN, is to be finalized
in September 2010. ■

Pantel makes best offer for designing modernization
of Polski Theater in Warsaw.
Tomasz Lell's Olsztyn based office Pantel has made the best offer in a tender
for the development of design documentation
for the modernization of historical Polski Theater building on Karasia Street in Warsaw. The functional and spatial concept for the overhaul and partial remodeling
of the building with an area of 8,000 sqm has been prepared by Anna Maląg. ■

Architecture and RS will design recreation complex over Vistula River in Warsaw. A team of architects
from the Architecture and RS Architektura Krajobrazu offices has won a contest for the development concept
of the boulevard stretching along the left bank of Vistula River in Warsaw, on the 2 km between Powiśle
and Podzamcze areas. Aside from 80,000 PLN, the prize
is the invitation to sole-source negotiations. The plans include the construction of 25 light exhibition pavilions and 6 restaurant pavilions. The city has appropriated
50 million PLN for the investment, but, according
to the architect, its cost will amount to 41 million PLN. According to schedule, the works should be finalized
in 2013. ■

Promedicon will receive over 14.5 million PLN for design
of medical center with area of 14,000 sqm in Krakow.

of the University Hospital in Krakow-Prokocim.
The complex will be built on a land plot with an area
of 15.7 hectares, situated in the area of Jakubowskiego and Kostaneckiego streets. It will be comprised of the main building with a net area of 104,000 sqm and net cubature
of 395,000 meters3, 3-story Emergency Medicine Trauma Center (8,300 sqm, 29,600 meters3) and background facilities buildings (4,500 sqm, 20,000 meters3).
The concept of the investment has been prepared
by Katowice based office Czora&Czora. ■

ECM Group makes lowest offer in tender for contract engineer for hospital extension in Olsztyn. ECM Group Polska has made the lowest offer (over 557,000 PLN gross) in a tender issued by the Voivodship Specialist Hospital concerning the function of substitute investor
for the extension of the complex on Żołnierska Street. Other participants of the tender are the consortium
of Grontmij (approx. 1.4 million PLN), consortium
of Bureau Veritas Polska and IPM Ingenieurgesellschaft für Projekt (over 2.1 million PLN), Inspec (878,000 PLN), Iosis Polska (over 1.8 million PLN) and consortium
of Wojewódzkie Przedsiębiorstwo Usług Inwestycyjnych and Przedsiębiorstwo Obsługi Inwestycji (over 920,000 PLN).

The investment will comprise the construction of a new 3-story building with a usable area of 6,600 sqm
and cubature of 29,400 meters3, which will hold a ward including 12 surgery rooms, sterilization room
and a teaching section for 120 students. Works
of the investment are to be finalized by the end of 2015. ■

BeMM Architekci will design tourism-recreation complex with area of 10.5 hectares in Poddębice commune. BeMM Architekci has won a tender issued by the Poddębice Commune concerning the development of a design
for the “Kraina Bez Barier” Tourism and Recreation Center in Byczyna (Łódzkie Voivodship). The contract includes the construction of a building with an area of 1,000 sqm,
a stand for 1,000 spectators and a complex of sports grounds on a land plot with an area of 10.5 hectares.
The contract is to be carried out by 3rd August of this year. ■

Ekobud acquires contract for designing roofed swimming pool in Poznań. Poznań City Office has announced that Dmosin based company Ekobud had been ordered a contract for the design of a swimming pool
in the Rataje residential district. The construction works
on the investment, the cost of which is estimated
at 20 million PLN, will begin next year. Other candidates for the design contract were Neoinvest, Paweł Tiepłow Pracownia Projektowa, Dominiczak&Szczuraszek
and Lubin based Archiprojekt. ■

Kontrapunkt V will design modernization of hospital
in Warsaw for 0.4 million PLN.
Krakow based office Kontrapunkt V has won a tender for the modernization design of Clinic for Internal Diseases and Cardiology
on Lindleya Street in Warsaw. Completion of the contract, worth 394,000 PLN gross, is to take 36 weeks.
The investment, being conducted by Dzieciątka Jezus Clinical Hospital, concerns a building with a net area
of 1,900 sqm and cubature of 7,000 meters3. ■

Anatex will build cultural center in Zambrów
for 9.5 million PLN.
The authorities of Zambrów (Podlaskie Voivodship) have chosen the offer made
by Anatex, with the price of over 9.5 million PLN gross,
in a tender for general contracting of a cultural center
on Wyszyńskiego Street. The plans anticipate
the construction, on the basis of a design prepared
by the consortium established by Ptaszyński Rubin Architekci and OffArt offices, of a building with an area
of 3,000 sqm and cubature of over 17,000 meters3. Works on the investment will take 2 years. ■

Bud Invent becomes substitute investor
for modernization of recreation
complex in Warsaw. Warszawskie Ośrodki Wypoczynku (WOW) Wisła has chosen the offer by Bud Invent in a tender for the function of substitute investor for the modernization of a roofed swimming pool on Inflancka Street in Warsaw. The value of the contract will amount to over 352,000 PLN gross. Last week we mistakenly informed that the lowest offer had been made by Bud Invest.

The cost of the investment will amount to approx.
47 million PLN. The construction works are to begin
this year on 1st August and take 2 years. ■

ZOZ in Dąbrowa Tarnowska seeks contractor
for hospital building with area of 2,300 sqm.
Health Care Center (ZOZ) in Dąbrowa Tarnowska (Małopolskie Voivodship) has issued a tender for the construction
of the Surgery Ward, along with a sterilization room,
on Szpitalna Street. The investment, the design
of which has been prepared by the OTS-IP office,
will comprise the construction of a 2-story building
with a usable area of 2,300 sqm and cubature
of 9,700 meters3. Offers, along with a deposit
of 100,000 PLN, will be collected until 2nd June.
The investment is to be finalized by 31st October of next year. ■

Nysa authorities seek contractor for roofed swimming pool with cubature of 9,200 meters3. Until 5th June, Nysa City Office (Opolskie Voivodship) will be collecting offers with a deposit of 100,000 PLN concerning general contracting for the modernization and extension
of a swimming pool on Piłsudskiego Street. The investment will comprise the general overhaul of the building
with a usable area of 1,100 sqm and cubature

Sośniowice authorities seek architect for roofed swimming pool. 28th May is the deadline for submitting applications concerning admission to tender
for the development of an architectural concept
for a swimming pool in Sośniowice (Śląskie Voivodship) on Gimnazjalna Street. The functional program anticipates the construction, on the land plot with area of 1.1 hectares, of a one-level building with a swimming pool sized 25 x 12.5m and service-rehabilitation facilities. The prize
for the winner of the contest is going to be an invitation
to sole-source negotiations regarding the development
of detailed designs. ■

Stalprzem will build sports-education complex
with area of over 3,000 sqm in Leżajsk.
Stalprzem has acquired a contract worth over 6 million PLN gross concerning the extension of the High Schools Complex
in Leżajsk (Podkarpackie Voivodship). The plans anticipate the construction of a sports hall with an area
of 2,300 sqm and cubature of 16,000 meters3, as well
as a teaching segment (area 1,000 sqm and cubature
of 3,900 meters3). Design documentation of the investment has been prepared by Jerzy Gniady. The works are to be finalized by 31st August 2010. ■

HOUSING INVESTMENTS

Budimex, in cooperation with Grupa 5, is planning construction of residential complex with area of 330,000 sqm. A concept of a residential complex with a total area
of 334,000 sqm, planned in Warsaw in the area
of Czerniakowska-Bis, Bluszczańska, Ananasowa streets and Siekierkowska Route, was presented in the past few days. The developer of the complex, which will be comprised by buildings up to 6 stories tall, is Budimex Nieruchomości. The concept of complex with over
1,900 flats has been prepared by Grupa 5 in cooperation with the company 90 Architekci. No decisions have been taken regarding the schedule of the investment.

Two weeks ago we informed that Budimex Nieruchomości is getting ready for the construction
of a residential complex in Krakow, with a total area
of 300,000 sqm. The concept of the investment, planned
in the area of Stella-Sawickiego, Włodarczyka and Kłosowskiego streets, has been prepared by B2 Studio. ■

Inverbud in cooperation with Bulanda Mucha office is planning construction of complex with area of 35,000 sqm. Next year, works on the construction of a residential complex with a total area of 35,000 sqm are to begin
on Jana Kazimierza Street in Warsaw. The design
of the complex with 6-10 stories has been prepared
by the Bulanda Mucha Architekci office. The developer
of the investment is Inverbud, a Spanish company managed by Jorge Blamco-Esteven. ■

Res-Gaj will build residential complex with area
of approx. 20,000 sqm in Rzeszów.
Res-Gaj
is in the process of obtaining environmental consents
for the planned construction of a residential complex
on Kępa Street in the Drabinianka district of Rzeszów.
The investment will comprise the construction of two buildings with up to 15 stories, with an area of building development amounting to approx. 7,000 sqm, a residential area of 15,000 sqm and service area of 3,500 sqm.
The complex will also have 251 parking spaces. ■

Graz is planning construction of multi-family buildings with 120 flats in Szczecin and Police. Gratz is preparing the construction of an apartment building on Potulicka Street in Szczecin. The plans anticipate the construction
of a 5-story building with approx. 40 flats with usable areas of 38-65 sqm.

The company is also planning to build, on Kołłątaja St. in Police (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship), a complex
of 5-story buildings connected by an underground garage, with approx. 80 flats. Documentation for both investments is being prepared by the MXL4 office. ■

Stump-Hydrobudowa will build complex with approx. 90 flats in Warsaw. In the past few days, Stump-Hydrobudowa began works an investment at the junction of Żelazna and Sienna streets for the Spółdzielnia Mieszkaniowa “Starówka” housing cooperative. So far,
the company has only signed a contract for the zero stage, but according to our sources, will probably also carry out further stages of the construction.

The investment will comprise the construction of two connected blocks with 8 and 9 stories, with an underground parking lot and approx. 90 flats. The design of the complex has been prepared by Biuro Architektoniczne Atelier 3 Girtler & Girtler. Works on the investment will be finalized in the 1st half of 2011. ■

that the Warsaw based company DPI Polska is planning
to build in Dąbrowa Górnicza (Śląskie Voivodship). Let us recall that the investor is planning to demolish the former municipality building on a land plot on 3 Maja Street
and erect a new apartment building with an area of over 7,500 sqm, with shopping-service premises on the ground floor. DPI has not chosen the general contractor yet.
The works should begin at the end of the 2nd or
in the 3rd quarter of this year; they will consume approx.
13 million PLN. ■

Dom-Bud will design complex with approx. 150 flats
in Elbląg.
Elbląg (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship) based TBS (Social Building Association) will hire Suwałki based office Dom-Bud to prepare a multi-branch documentation for the 1st part of the Modrzewina Północ residential complex. The investment will comprise
the construction of 4 buildings with a total cubature
of 43,500 meters3, with 149 flats with areas of 32-62 sqm. Architectural works are to be finalized by 25th April 2010.

The 2nd stage of the investment will comprise
the construction of 5 buildings with cubature of approx. 50,000 meters3, with 174 flats. ■

Ekbud will build residential complex with cubature
of 29,000 meters
3 in Lublin. The authorities of Lublin will hire Ekbud as general contractor of a residential complex
in the area of Mireckiego and Reymonta streets. Other candidates for the contract were Polimex-Mostostal, Henpol and Mostostal Warszawa.

The investment will comprise the construction
of a 4-story building with an area of over 6,500 sqm and cubature of 29,000 meters3, with approx. 120 flats.
The construction works are to be finalized within a period of 3 years. ■

KD Projekt will prepare documentation of residential complex with 105 flats in Przasnysz. Przasnysz City Office (Mazowieckie Voivodship) will order a contract worth 107,000 PLN gross to Krakow based office KD Projekt concerning the development of documentation
for a residential complex on Zawodzie Street. The contract concerns the development, by 30th August, of a design
for a building with 21 flats, and then by 30th March of next year - for another two buildings with 84 flats in total. ■

Authorities of Warsaw-Białołęka seek architect
for building with 80 flats.
Until 5th June, the authorities
of Białołęka district of Warsaw will be collecting offers
for the development of documentation of a communal building on Marywilska Street. The investment will comprise the construction of a 6-story building with office-service premises on the ground floor and 80 flats on upper floors. The contract is to be carried out by May 2010. Another building with similar parameters will be built
in the next few years. ■

Sterzyński Sucharski office wins contest for designing service-residential building in Poznań. Pracownia Projektowa Sterzyński Sucharski Easst.com has won
1st prize in a contest, issued by the company Inwestycje Wielkopolski along with Poznań division of SARP, concerning the concept for the development of land plots situated in the area of Garbary and Wodna streets
in Poznań. The plans anticipate the construction
of a 5 story tall service-office-residential building
with an area of building development amounting to approx. 500 sqm. ■

Warsaw-Rembertów authorities are planning construction
of building with 60 flats.
The authorities of the Rembertów district of Warsaw are preparing the construction
of a multi-family building in the area of Kacpury and Bellony streets. The plans anticipate the construction
of a building with 60 flats, with a total area of 2,100 sqm. The procedure of choosing an architect for the investment is currently in progress. ■

WAM will erect buildings with approx. 60 flats
in Gołdap and Inowrocław.
Olsztyn division
of the Military Housing Agency (WAM) has issued
a tender for general contracting of a residential building
in Gołdap (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship)
on Żeromskiego Street. The complex, designed
by the Akon office, will have 32 flats. Offers with a deposit of 100,000 PLN will be collected until 8th June.

Meanwhile, until 1st June, Bydgoszcz division of WAM will be collecting offers, along with a deposit
of 100,000 PLN, for the construction of a multi-family building with 27 flats on Św. Ducha Street in Inowrocław (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship). Completion of both tasks will take 15 months. ■

INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENTS

Consortium of Drogbud, Bogl a Krysl and Pol-Dróg make lowest offer for construction of ring road for Żyrardów. Twelve offers have been submitted in a tender, issued by GDDKiA (General Management of National Roads and Motorways), concerning the construction of a ring road
for Żyrardów (Mazowieckie Voivodship). The lowest offer, with the price of 211.8 million PLN, has been made by the consortium of Drogbud Podkarpacki Holding Budowy Dróg, Bogl a Krysl and Pol-Dróg Piła.
The highest offer had a price of 324.1 million PLN. ■

GDDKiA seeks designer for S-7 road between Warsaw and Czosnów. General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has issued a tender
for the development of documentation for a section
of the S-7 expressway's north exit from Warsaw
in the direction of Gdańsk, between Czosnów and
the Armii Krajowej Route. Offers, along with a deposit
of 250,000 PLN, will be collected until 24th June.
The contract is to be carried out by 31st January 2011. ■

GDDKiA is preparing construction of 37 km of ring roads for Bojanowo and Rawicz. Poznań Division
of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) will soon issue a tender
for the construction of ring roads for Bojanowo and Rawicz. The investment will comprise the construction
of 29 km of the S-5 expressway and 8 km of national dual carriageway No. 36. The investment will include
the construction of 4 two-level junctions and 12 overpasses. ■

MP-Mosty will design, for 1.7 million PLN, transportation connection in Warsaw. City Transportation Management (ZTM) in Warsaw has ordered a contract worth
1.7 million PLN gross to MP-Mosty concerning
the development of a design for a connection between Światowida Street and Northern Bridge (Most Północny) route. The contract constitutes a part of the project
for the construction of a tramway line, connecting the left-bank side of Warsaw with the Tarchomin residential district. ■

Aquanet seeks contractor for “Hetmańska” intermediate sewage pumping station in Poznań. Until 26th June, Aquanet will be collecting offers, along with a deposit
of 1 million PLN, for the extension of the “Hetmańska” sewage treatment plant in Poznań. The investment,
the value of which is estimated at 50-62 million PLN gross, will comprise the design and construction
of an intermediate pumping station with a capacity
of 940 dm3/s, as well as the construction of two delivery pipelines. Completion of the contract is to take 36 months. ■

Gdynia authorities will extend Bosmańska Street
for 36 million PLN.
Investments Department
of the Gdynia City Office has issued a tender
for the modernization of Bosmańska Street, along
with the construction of a sewage system and extension
of Nasupowa and Unruga streets. Offers, along
with a deposit of 500,000 PLN, will be collected
until 10th June. Works on the investment, the cost
of which is estimated at 36 million PLN gross, are to be finalized in June 2010. ■

RCMB will build shopping center with area of 2,300 sqm
in Krosno

Société Générale is interested in financing nuclear power plant worth 25 bln PLN. A meeting of the deputy minister of the economy Adam Szejnfeld with Stepane Hilde, chairman of the French bank Société Générale, took place on May 15. The topic of the conversation was most likely the financing of the first Polish nuclear power plant, the cost of which is estimated at 25 billion PLN. The tender procedure for the supplier of technologies could take place next year. Construction works could begin in 2014
and the power plant would be opened in 2019. ■
