RETAIL OUTLETS

Ariadna is finalizing negotiations with general contractors of shopping gallery in Jelenia Góra. In June Ariadna, a development company in which the Austrian Egosta Company owns shares, should publicize the name of the general contractor of a shopping gallery, planned on Pijarska Street in Jelenia Góra (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). The complex, with an area of approx. 10,000 sqm, will be built on the basis of documentation prepared by Wro-Projekt. According to unofficial findings, Hochtief has the highest chances of obtaining the contract.

Ariadna, in cooperation with companies from the capital group, is also preparing the realization of development investments in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Będzin near Koszalin and Szczecin. ■

Antan Development is planning construction of shopping center with area of 8,000 sqm in Strzegom. Representatives of Antan Development have informed of plans for the construction of a shopping-service center in Strzegom (Dolnośląskie Voivodship) at the intersection of Wojska Polskiego Street with National Road Number 5. The construction of an outlet with an area of 8,000 sqm and a Shell fuel station is planned on a 3.4-hectare lot. The preliminary concept of the investment was prepared by RKW. ■

S.A. Kwadrat is designing retail-office outlet with area of approx. 10,000 sqm for CF Plus in Gdynia. The Kwadrat Architectural workshop has prepared several concepts of a shopping gallery with an office section which will be built in the area of Portowa and Jana z Kolna streets. Depending on the version, the area of the complex may range from 7 to 14,000 sqm and will be divided in different proportions between various functions, but most likely the retail-service function will prevail. The schedule of the project has not been set yet. ■

Realbud has commenced construction of shopping center with area of 3,500 sqm in Kalisz. The Realbud Company from Witków has been chosen as the general contractor of the “Mini Park” center which Świtalski&Synowie will build in Kalisz, in the area of Hanki Sawickiej Street and Stanisława Wojciechowskiego Street. The enterprise will include the construction of outlets with an area of approx. 3,500 sqm, completed with a parking lot for 120 vehicles. The complex was designed by the Marker Company. ■

ARAW is planning construction of shopping center with area of 4,500 sqm in Wrocław. ARAW (Agency for the Development of the Wrocław Metro Area) is preparing the construction of a market hall in the area of Jedności Narodowej and Namysłowska streets. The planned outlet will consist of 170 retail outlets with a total usable area of 4,500 sqm.

The cost of the investment, which should be completed by the end of March of next year, has been estimated at
25 mln PLN. A tender procedure for the design and general contracting of the enterprise are supposed to be announced soon. ■

Vega Technik and Pragma will build „Focus Park” in Piotrków Trybunalski. Agnieszka Drucis, marketing director of Parkridge Retail Poland, informed PREM that the Vega Technik Company has recently been entrusted with the erection of walls, posts and ceilings of the “Focus Park” shopping center which is being built in Piotrków Trybunalski (Łódzkie Voivodship) in the area of Kostromska, Słowackiego and Modrzewskiego streets. The Pragma Company also acquired a contract for the placement of floors and Kom-Eko - of railings.

The general contractor of the outlet, with a total area of approx. 70,000 sqm which will be opened on November 13, is Mostostal Warszawa. The tenants include Media Markt (hypermarket with area of 4,700 sqm), Helios (5-room multi-screen cinema, approx. 2,200 sqm), C&A (over 1,900 sqm), Reserved (over 1,500 sqm) and Newyorker (approx. 1,300 sqm). ■

Biernat Architekci will design modernization of market hall with area of 7,800 sqm in Gdynia. The Biernat Architekci workshop from Gdynia has won a tender procedure for the modernization design of a market hall with an area of 7,800 sqm on Wójta Radtkego Street in Gdynia (Pomorskie Voivodship). The order should be completed within 4 months.

Other workshops which tried to acquire the contract were: Barysz Point Line (360,000 PLN), APA CAD (324,000 PLN) and a consortium of Industria-ProStal (325,000 PLN). The bid submitted by Art Projekt K&M was rejected due to formal reasons. ■

Jeronimo Martins will build Biedronka supermarket with area of 1,300 sqm in Bytów. Preparations for the construction of a new Biedronka chain supermarket are at the stage of acquiring building permits from the District Authorities of Bytów (Pomorskie Voivodship). The outlet, with an area of approx. 1,300 sqm, will be located on the premises of the allotment gardens in the area of 1 Maja Street, near the City Council and District Authorities. This will be the second store in the city belonging to Portuguese Jeronimo Martins. ■

Skobud is realizing works on Lidl supermarket in Konstancin-Jeziorna. Skobud, a construction company from Tarnobrzeg, is conducting works on the construction of the Lidl supermarket in Konstancin-Jeziorna near Warsaw. The outlet, with a usable area of 1,500 sqm, will be located on Pułaskiego Street. ■

PRODUCTION AND WAREHOUSE OUTLETS

RD bud will build Woodward Governor production complex in Niepołomice. RD bud has been chosen as general contractor of Woodward Governor production complex in Niepołomice (Małopolskie Voivodship). The enterprise will be located in the sub-zone of the Krakow Park of Technology and will include the construction of an outlet with an area of approx. 7,500 sqm. The design of the factory was prepared by BW Art III. Woodward Governor deals with the production of steering sub-components for the aviation industry. ■

Airon Investment will build production plant with area of approx. 6,000 sqm in Bydgoszcz. Airon Investment is conducting preparations for the construction of
a production plant in Bydgoszcz (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship), in the Pomorska Special Economic Zone. According to our information, the company will build
a hall with an area of approx. 6,000 sqm. The cost of the enterprise will reach 40 mln PLN, and declared employment will reach 40 people. Airon will process sheet metal and steel profiles. ■

GC Investment will build Energoinstal production complex in Poręb. GC Investment has been chosen as general contractor of the Center for Innovative Laser Technologies which Energoinstal is planning to build in Poręb (Śląskie Voivodship) on Zakładowa Street. The cost of the investment, along with equipping it with technological lines, will reach approx. 30 mln PLN. Several weeks ago the company received decisions regarding environmental conditions. ■

Wrobis will build production hall with cubature of 43,800 meters3 in Krępice. Wrobis has acquired a contract worth over 14.3 mln PLN net for the general contracting of a foil production plant in Krępice (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). The outlet, with an area of almost 4,700 sqm and a cubature of over 43,000 meters3, will be built for Verpa Folie Wrocław. Works on the construction of the factory will finish in November of this year. ■

NPA Skawina will build production complex in Toruń for 70 mln PLN. NPA Skawina will spend 70 mln PLN on an investment in the Toruń sub-zone of Pomorska Special Economic Zone. The works will include the thorough renovation and adaptation of outlets of the Elana plant located on approx. 7 hectares on Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie Street. Declared employment will reach 105 people. NPA Skawina and Elana belong to the Boryszew Group. ■

Vitro will develop glassworks in Florynka by approx. 3,800 sqm. The commune council of Grybów (Małopolskie Voivodship) has issued permission to the Vitro Company for the development of glassworks in Florynka. The enterprise will consist of the construction of new outlets with an area of approx. 3,800 sqm on approx. 3 hectares of land. The works will include the construction of
a warehouse (1,500 sqm) and a production section (2,300 sqm). The concept of the enterprise was prepared by Pracownia Projektowa plus Ekoekspert from Nowy Sącz. ■

Bester will build production plant in Łańcut. The Bester Sklejki Company has obtained permission for the construction of a production plant in Łańcut (Podkarpackie Voivodship). The investor is planning to build a hall on Żeromskiego Street. The date of the commencement of the works will depend on the incorporation of the area into the Mielec Special Economic Zone. Declared employment should reach 100 people. ■

WZI is seeking designer of multi-functional warehouse with area of 7,700 sqm in Krzesiny. WZI (Military Infrastructure Management) in Poznań is accepting bids with a deposit of 15,000 PLN for preparing the design of a multi-functional warehouse for the
1156 Poznań-Krzesiny Military Unit. The functional concept of the outlet, with an area of 7,700 sqm, was prepared by the Cecomm Company from Bydgoszcz. Documentation should be prepared within 6 months. ■

PBG will build natural gas compressor in Goleniów for 67 mln PLN. PBG has informed of signing a contract with Gaz-System gasline operator for the general contractorship of a Goleniów Natural Gas Compressor Station (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship). The contract, worth almost 67 mln PLN gross, will be completed within 17 months. ■

Thoni Alutec is seeking contractor of production hall with area of 2,700 sqm in Stalowa Wola. Works on the construction of a steel processing plant with social facilities will begin in July of this year on Przyszkowska Street in Stalowa Wola (Podkarpackie Voivodship). The investor of the outlet, with an area of 2,700 sqm, will be Thoni Alutec, a company specializing in sand and permanent mould aluminum castings. ■

PGNiG will invest 700 mln PLN in underground natural gas warehouse in Kosakowo. PGNiG has informed of plans for the construction of an underground natural gas warehouse in Mosty in the commune of Kosakowo near Puck (Pomorskie Voivodship). Salt deposits will be used for the construction of chambers with a total area of 250 mln m3 (by 2020, including approx. 100 mln m3 by 2014). The investment, worth approx. 700 mln PLN, will be carried out by Investgas from PGNiG's group. ■

OFFICE BUILDINGS

Fougerolle Mitex is preparing construction of office center on 0.8 hectares in Warsaw. Fougerolle Mitex is about to develop a property with an area of approx. 0.8 hectare located at 5A Postępu Street in Warsaw. The enterprise will include the construction of an office outlet with services and an underground garage for 700 vehicles. The company has received a decision regarding the lack of need for establishing the effects of the investment on the environment. Representatives of the investor have informed us that at the current stage of preparations the details of the enterprise have not been revealed yet. ■

APA Wojciechowski designs office building with usable area of 50,000 sqm on Ostrobramska Street in Warsaw. The APA Wojciechowski architectural workshop is working on the design of an office building, planned at the intersection of Ostrobramska and Rodziewiczówny Streets in Warsaw. The outlet will be 6 and 21 stories high (plus
2 underground levels with a garage for over 1,000 vehicles) and will have a total area of 64,000 sqm, including a usable area of 50,600 sqm and a cubature of 245,000 m3. The name of the investor has not been revealed. Construction works are planned to commence next year. ■

Outsourcing Business Center will build office building with area of 14,000 sqm in Wrocław. Outsourcing Business Center has applied to the City Council of Wrocław with an application for establishing the influence on the environment for the construction of an office-service outlet at 62 Armii Krajowej Street. Administrative procedures are being obtained on behalf of the investor by BMT Polska. The enterprise will include the construction of buildings with a usable area of 14,000 sqm and a height of 55 meters. ■

Mandy Investments is planning construction of office complex with usable area of 30,000 sqm. Mandy Investments, which has ties to Celtic Asset Management, is planning the construction of an office complex on Jana Kazimierza Street in Warsaw. The complex will consist of two 6-story outlets with a total usable area of approx. 30,000 sqm. The design of the investment was prepared last year by Janusz Wróbel, who is the co-owner of the WAW Architekci workshop, as part of the activities of the Architecture Company.

The schedule of the enterprise has not been set yet. As we informed, a tender procedure was organized earlier for the general contracting of the outlet with an area of 12,000 sqm, but it has not been settled. ■

Comarch is seeking designer of office building with area of 5,200 sqm in Krakow. !5th of August is the deadline for submitting offers in a tender procedure for the realization of the fourth stage of the Comarch office complex on the premises of the Krakow Czyżyny Special Economic Zone. An outlet with an area of over 5,200 sqm and a cubature of 20,000 meters3 will be built by the end of 2010. Budostal-2 was Comarch's partner during the realization of previous stages of the complex. ■

Customs Chamber in Katowice is seeking contractor of office building with area of 6,000 sqm. The Customs Chamber in Katowice is accepting bids with a tender deposit of 200,000 PLN for the general contracting of its new seat on Słoneczna Street until June 23. The investment will include the construction of an office building with an area of 6,200 sqm and a cubature of 32,000 meters3. Documentation was prepared by Pro-Arch-2 and the enterprise will be completed in 36 months. ■

APA Kuryłowicz will design Geo-Centrum in Wrocław for almost 2.2 mln PLN. Wrocław University of Technology, after a second analysis of the documents submitted in the procedure for designing the first stage of the Geo-Complex educational-research complex, informed that the most advantageous bid was submitted by APA Kuryłowicz. The company from Warsaw wants to receive almost 2.3 mln PLN net for the realization of the task.

A+R Jarząbek i Partnerzy, which asked for 1.7 mln PLN for the documentation, was excluded from the procedure. Perbo Projekt, TKS Polska, Studio Ozone, Fold, AEC Polska, Predom, Stanisławski are also trying to acquire the contract. The first stage of the investment will include the construction of a cubature outlet with a net area of 9,400 sqm and a cubature of 37,400 meters3.

Let us recall that the entire complex, the concept of which was prepared by AIC Equip, will include the construction of outlets with an area of 32,000 sqm on Na Grobli Street. The investment is planned to be completed in 2013. ■

Ekobud will design teaching complex with area of 10,000 sqm in Michałowice. Ekobud has submitted the lowest bid, worth 275,000 PLN, for preparing the concept and design of the school-preschool complex in Reguły near Warsaw, on Kuchy Street. The investment, being supervised by the authorities of the commune of Michałowice, will include the construction in three stages of a preschool for 150 children, an elementary school and a gymnasium for 540 students, and a sports hall. The total net area of the complex will reach approx. 10,000 sqm. Design works should be completed within 9 months and the entire project will be completed by July 2011. ■

Six companies admitted into tender procedure for contracting of European Pharmacy Center in Białystok. Six companies (Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex, Mostostal Warszawa, Warbud, a consortium of Unibep-Allcon, Budimex Dromex and a consortium led by John Sisk & Son Ltd) have been invited to submit bids in a tender procedure organized by the Medical University of Białystok for the construction of the European Pharmacy Center.

The investment will consist of the construction of
a 4-story outlet with a total area of approx. 8,000 sqm and a cubature of over 33,000 meters3. The cost of the enterprise, which will be financed through EU funds and from the national budget, is estimated at 48 mln PLN. The design of the building was prepared by the Karts Company. Works on the enterprise will take 2 years. ■

Targi Kielce is seeking contractor of exhibition outlet with area of 6,700 sqm. The management of Targi Kielce is accepting bids with a tender deposit of 500,000 PLN for the construction of an exhibition hall on Zakładowa Street until June 15. The outlet, with an area of 6,700 sqm, will be built on the basis of a design prepared by the BSP workshop from Bytom. Works are planned to be completed on July 15, 2010. ■

Warsaw University is seeking designer of teaching outlet with area of 5,000 sqm. Bids with a tender deposit of 10,000 PLN for preparing the design of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Sciences building of Warsaw University are being accepted until June 19. The outlet, with an area of 5,000 sqm and a cubature of 13,000 meters3, will be located in the area of Bednarska, Dobra, Nowy Zjazd and Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie streets. The order is to be completed within 26 months. ■

Music Academy will build teaching outlet with area of 4,000 sqm in Łódź. Applications are being accepted for taking part in a contest organized by the Grażyna i Kiejstut Bacewicz Music Academy from Łódź for the architectural-building concept of the Regional Center for Music Culture, Education and Documentation with an area of approx. 4,000 sqm on 1 Maja Street in Łódź. Works should be submitted by July 14. The authors of the two best concepts will receive invitations for further negotiations for preparing detailed designs. The contest is being supervised by the Łódź branch of the Polish Architects Association. ■

PWSZ is seeking substitute investor for construction of teaching outlet for 28 mln PLN. Public Vocational College (PWSZ) in Leszno has announced a tender for the function of substitute investor on the construction of
a multi-functional auditorium with lecture halls on Mickiewicza Street. The planned outlet, the documentation of which was prepared by Jerzy Wojciechowski's Authorial Project Agency, will have a usable area of 3,700 sqm and the cost of its construction has been estimated at 28 mln PLN. Bids with a tender deposit of 25,000 PLN are being accepted until June 26. The order, the value of which is expected to reach 1.9 mln PLN gross, will be completed by the end of 2011. ■

Mostostal Warszawa wants to build UMK teaching outlet in Toruń for approx. 10.8 mln PLN. Six offers have been submitted in a tender procedure organized by the Nicolaus Copernicus University (UMK) for the general contracting on the development of the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Sciences on Grudziądzka Street in Toruń. The lowest bid, with a price of approx. 10.8 mln PLN gross, was submitted by Mostostal Warszawa. Rembud (14.3 mln PLN), Marbud (14.1 mln PLN) and consortia of Lemar-Tombud (13.9 mln PLN), Kabet-Bud Eko (14.4 mln PLN) and Fijałkowski-Wiksbud (13.9 mln PLN) are also taking part in the tender procedure.

The enterprise, designed by PM Group, will consist of the construction of the Center for Quantum Optics with
a usable area of 3,500 sqm. The investment will be completed by the end of March of 2011. ■

Archimedia has submitted the best bid for design of Administrative Management Center in Karpacz. Twenty-two bids were submitted in a tender procedure announced by the city authorities of Karpacz (Dolnośląskie Voivodship) for preparing the design of the Administrative Management Center. The bid submitted by the Archimedia Company from Wrocław, for 146,400 PLN gross, was chosen as the most advantageous one.

The complex will consist of administrative and technical servicing outlets with a total area of 3,200 sqm and a cubature of 11,200 meters3, located on Obrońców Street. The order should be completed by December 21, 2009. ■

OSA has submitted lowest offer in tender for design of Emergency Services Complex in Ćmińsk. Two bids were submitted in a tender procedure announced by the authorities of Miedziana Góra (Świętokrzyskie Voivodship) for the design of the complex of Emergency Rescue Services in Ćmińsk. The lowest bid, with a price of over 139,000 PLN gross, was submitted by OSA Design Workshop from Poznań and the higher bid (over 218,300 PLN) by Małeccy Biuro Projektowe. The outlet, with
a height of from 2 to 3 levels and a development area of 1,300 sqm, will be located on a 1.8-hectare lot. The order will be completed within 2 months. ■

Henpol wants to develop PAN complex in Lublin for
6.7 mln PLN. Eights bids have been submitted in a tender procedure for the modernization and development of the Institute of Agrophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) in Lublin. The lowest bid, with a gross price of over 6.7 mln PLN, was submitted by Henpol. Prochem (7.8 mln PLN), Mostostal Warszawa (8.1 mln PLN), Warbud
(7.9 mln PLN), Tehand (7.6 mln PLN), Mitex (9.7 mln PLN), PRS Wschód (6.9 mln PLN) and Flisbud (6.8 mln PLN) are also taking part in the procedure. An outlet with an area of 3,000 sqm will be built on Dobrzyńskiego Street on the basis of a design prepared by Tadeusz de Sas Stupnicki. Works are planned to be completed within 18 months. ■

Authorities of Milanówek are seeking contractor of preschool with area of 2,500 sqm. Bids with a tender deposit of 150,000 PLN for the construction of a preschool on Fiderkiewicza Street in Milanówek (Mazowieckie Voivodship) are being accepted until June 10. Design documentation of the 2-story outlet with an area of 2,500 sqm and a cubature of 7,000 meters3 was prepared by the “Proinwest” workshop from Warsaw. Works are to be completed in 12 months.

It was also announced several days ago that there are plans for developing the preschool on Porajów Street in Warsaw-Białołęka. The design of two new units, with an area of 1,000 sqm, should be ready within 6 months and will be carried out by the BNS Company. ■

Krodomex and Michalski will build teaching outlets in Wielkopolskie Voivodship for 8.3 mln PLN net. The authorities of Leszno (Wielkopolskie Voivodship) have entrusted the “Michalski” consortium with building
a middle school with an area of 2,300 sqm along with
a gymnasium on Szczepanowskiego Street. Kontrakt
(4.57 mln PLN), Rawbud (4.73 mln PLN), PRB Partner (4.82 mln PLN), Forbud (5.04 mln PLN) also tried to acquire the contract. The bid submitted by the REAL Włodzimierz Pośpiech Company (4.72 mln PLN) was rejected due to formal reasons.

It was also announced several days ago that the middle school in Kobyla Góra will be built for 4 mln PLN net by Krodomex from Krotoszyn. Works on the outlet, which will have an area of 2,900 sqm and a cubature of 14,000 meters3, are planned to be completed on June 30, 2010. The remaining participants in the tender procedure were: Piecobiogaz, Novum Management, PBO, consortium Agbud-Trasko and Projektobud Kępno. ■

HOUSING INVESTMENTS

Danprojekt is preparing for Dom Development design of “Gocław” housing complex with 1340 flats in Warsaw. Danprojekt is working on the design of the “Gocław” housing complex which Dom Development is planning to build in the area of Jana Nowaka-Jeziorańskiego Street, in the area of Kępa Gocławska in Warsaw. Buildings up to
14 stories high and with a total area of over 200,000 sqm will be constructed on the over 6.7-hectare lot purchased from Tesco. The above-ground section (approx. 133,000 sqm) will consist of 1342 apartment units, ranging in size from 42 to 120 sqm (total usable space of approx. 86,500 sqm) and 4,200 sqm of service space while the underground section (72,000 sqm) will house garages for over 1,600 automobiles. Construction works are planned to begin at the turn of this year and next year. ■

Bauhaus and Przembud have been shortlisted as contractors of 1st stage of Robyg complex in Gdańsk. Robyd is conducting advanced negotiations with companies interested in the contracting of the first stage of the Lawendowe Wzgórze housing estate on Jabłoniowa Street in Gdańsk. Bauhaus and Przembud have been shortlisted. The first stage will consist of the construction of a 6-story outlet with 85 apartment units. A total of 3,500 apartment units with an area of 220,000 sqm will be built on the basis of the concept prepared by Kontrapunkt V from Krakow. ■

Amabud is preparing construction of complex with area of 7,400 sqm in Warsaw-Tarchomin. Works on the construction of an apartment complex with a total area of over 7,400 sqm will begin next year on Nowodworska Street in Warsaw-Tarchomin. The design of the investment is being prepared by the FO workshop. The developer of the complex is Amabud, a company which is building, for example, a housing estate on Sprawna Street in Tarchomin and a residential complex on Górna Street in Płock. ■

Verity is preparing construction of residential complex on app. 1 hectare of land in Łódź. Verity Development is getting ready to apply for building development conditions for a land plot situated in the area of Sarnia and Sucha streets in Łódź. The investor is planning to build
a residential complex on a land plot with an area of approx. 1 hectare. The company has not chosen the author for the architectural concept so far nor established the height of the building development. According to schedule, the works on the complex should begin around 2011.

In Łódź, Verity Development is getting ready for the revitalization of historical tenement houses in the center of the city. The modernization will concern a building with an area of 11,000 sqm at 12 Fabryczna Street, a building with an area of 4,400 sqm at 96 Piotrkowska Street, one with an area of 2,800 sqm at 12 Traugutta Street, and one with an area of 1,300 sqm at 33 Pomorska Street. The design on Piotrkowska Street will be carried out first. Documentation of the investments is being prepared by the Archi-dea office. ■

PA Handschuh prepares design of BBI Development's apartment building in Poznań-Kiekrz. BBI Development is finalizing the choosing of a co-investor for the construction of an apartment building in Poznań-Kiekrz, on Kierskie Lake. According to our sources, it is a Poznań based development company with Polish capital. The design of the investment has been prepared by Paweł Handschuh's architectural office. It anticipates the construction of an apartment building with a service-recreation section, with area of 10,000 sqm (7,000 sqm of usable area). The construction will be managed by APP Projekt. ■

Communal TBS in Białystok seeks architect for complex with approx. 400 flats. 9th June is the deadline for submitting applications concerning admission to contest, issued by Białystok based Social Building Association (TBS), concerning the development of an architectural concept for the Bacieczki VI residential complex.

The functional program of the investment anticipates the construction of approx. 410 flats in the area of Kołłątaja, Komisji Edukacji Narodowej and Gwiezdna streets. The concepts are to be submitted by the qualified participants until 24th August of this year. The winner will receive 25,000 PLN and an invitation to sole-source negotiations regarding the development of detailed designs. ■

Arna begins construction of Mazury Residence complex near Giżycko. In May, Warsaw based company Arna began the construction of a marina and marina board office, which will constitute a part of the “Mazury Residence” complex in Grajwo near Giżycko (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship). This stage of the investment comprises the construction of a facility for 100 guests, with a yacht harbor on Niegocin Lake.

The Mazury Residence project anticipates the construction, on approx. 150 hectares of land, of
150 raised-standards houses, along with an airport for tourist planes, hotel, tennis courts, golf course and medical facilities. The design of the investment has been prepared by Janusz Kamieniecki. The first stage of building development, consisting of 30 houses, is currently under construction. ■

Henpol will build residential complex with 60 flats in Warsaw for Dom Development. Dom Development has hired Lublin based company Henpol as general contractor of the “Derby 20” residential complex on Skarbka z Gór Street in Warsaw. The investment is to comprise the construction of six 3-story city villas, with 60 flats in total. Works on the realization of the investment, designed by Paweł Piątek's office DAP, are to be finalized in the 2nd quarter of next year. ■

Bełchatów authorities will appropriate 1.8 million PLN for design of “Ludwików” residential complex. The authorities of Bełchatów (Łódzkie Voivodship) have issued a tender for the design of the “Ludwików” residential complex, planned in the area of Lipowa St., Ks. Kard. S. Wyszyńskiego Av., Ludwikowska St. and the western border of the city. The value of the contract will amount to over 1.8 million PLN net.

Offers, along with a deposit of 10,000 PLN, can be submitted until 8th July. Documentation is to be ready by the end of March 2010. In the so-called Ludwików area, Bełchatów has got 86 hectares of land appropriated in
a spatial development plan for housing development. ■

Aleksandrów Łódzki authorities seek contractor for complex with 80 flats. The mayor of Aleksandrów Łódzki has issued a tender for the construction of a residential building with 80 flats on Konstantynowska Street. The investment, designed by Michał Pisarski's Studio M., will comprise the construction of a 4-story building with
a cubature of 14,600 meters3 and usable area of 4,700 sqm, out of which 3,600 sqm will be taken up by flats, and 1,100 sqm by underground garages. Offers (with no deposit) will be collected until 15th June. The contract is to be completed by the end of next year. ■

M-3 Lokum will erect residential building with approx. 40 flats in Rzeszów. Preparations for the construction of
a residential building of the M-3 Lokum Company on Sportowa Street in Rzeszów are at the stage of obtaining
a substitute construction permit. The design of the 6-story building with approx. 40 flats has been prepared by Krzysztof Waglewski's office Pracownia Autorska Architekt. The construction is to begin in the 3rd quarter of this year, and it should be finalized by the end of the 2nd quarter of next year. ■

Budrem will build residential complex with cubature of nearly 10,000 meters3 in Będzin for 9.6 million PLN. Spółdzielnia Rzemieślnicza “Budrem” has made the lowest offer, with the price of 9.6 million PLN gross, in a tender for the construction of a complex of social flats on Wolska St. in Będzin (Śląskie Voivodship). The investment, conducted by the city authorities, will comprise the construction of 12 multi-family houses, each with cubature of 611 meters3, and lodging house (2,300 meters3). Completion of the contract is to take 18 months. ■

Malbork based Sociatl Building Association seeks contractor for residential building with 37 flats. Until 17th June, Malbork based Social Building Association (TBS) will be collecting offers, along with a deposit of 50,000 PLN, for the construction of a building with 37 flats on Michałowskiego Street. Completion of the building with a usable area of approx. 2,000 sqm, the documentation of which has been prepared by Biuro Projektów Budownictwa Komunalnego, has been scheduled for September of next year. This is going to be the third building in this residential complex, and the next five, with 185 flats in total, will be erected within the next 5 years. ■

HOTELS AND ENTERTAINMENT CENTERS

JJW Hoberg is preparing construction of hotel with 240 rooms in Ustka. JJW Hoberg, investment integrator, has presented urban assumptions regarding a multi-functional complex in a harbor area and its vicinity to the authorities of Ustka (Pomorskie Voivodship). The company's plans anticipate the construction of a hotel with 240 rooms with an area of 12,500 sqm, a complex of service and recreation facilities (5,500 sqm), marina with 4,600 sqm of building development, residential complex (over 23,000 sqm) and parking lots (approx. 3,300 sqm).

JJW Hoberg representatives want to establish a partnership, to which the city would bring in the land, and the external investor the capital. Currently, the Warsaw based company, in cooperation with UBM Polska as financial partner and Peterbud as general contractor, is building the Oaza Kampinos residential complex on a land plot with an area of 32 hectares in Małocice near Czosnów (Mazowieckie Voivodship). ■

Dom Deweloper is preparing construction of hotel with 120 rooms in Olsztyn. Paweł Potocki, owner of Dom Deweloper, has purchased 0.4 hectare of land by Krzywe Lake in Olsztyn. The investor purchased the plot of the former Liga Obrony Kraju organization's harbor. In the 1st stage, the entrepreneur is planning to modernize the existing tourism infrastructure and build restaurant facilities. At the same time, negotiations are in progress concerning the purchase of adjacent land plots for the purpose of building a hotel with 120 rooms. ■

Skarbiec Nieruchomości hires Warbud for construction of hotel-apartment complex. Warbud has recently signed a contract worth 23 million PLN with the Skarbiec Nieruchomości fund concerning general contracting of
a hotel-apartment complex in Gdańsk. The plans anticipate the construction, on the basis of historical tenement houses, of a hotel with an area of 2,200 sqm and apartment buildings (3,500 sqm) on Grodzka and Czopowa streets. Works on the investments will last until November 2010.

This is the second contract Skarbiec has signed with Warbud. In 2006, we informed that the companies were cooperating on the construction of a residential building (over 14,000 sqm) in Szczecin. ■

CKK Zamek will appropriate 30 mln PLN for adaptation of castle for purposes of 4-star hotel in Lidzbark.
25th June is the deadline for submitting applications concerning admission to tender for the adaptation of
a castle in Lidzbark Warmiński (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship) for the purposes of a 4-star hotel. The management of Centrum Konferencyjno-Wypoczynkowe “Zamek” is planning to invite 5 contractors to submit offers with a deposit of 1 million PLN. The functional concept for modernization of the main building with an area of 7,700 sqm and cubature of 44,000 meters3 has been created at the Olsztyn based office Dźus GK Architekci. The works, the estimated value of which amounts to 30 million PLN, are to take 16 months.

The main shareholder of the CKK Zamek group is Andrzej Dowgiałło, owner of Traveland and Grupa Anders. Dowgiałło had been involved in the modernization of
a historical Teutonic Knights' castle in Ryna (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship) for the purposes of a 3-star hotel with approx. 200 rooms. The contract for general contracting of the investment, worth 20 million PLN, was carried out by Ostrołęka based company Sterbud. ■

Wiksbud will build sports-hotel complex in Dobrzyń on River Vistula. The authorities of Dobrzyń on River Vistula (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship) have chosen Wiksbud's offer (7.2 million PLN) in a tender for general contracting of the Dobrzyń Sports and Tourism Center on Licealna Street. The investment, designed by the Mapro office, will comprise the construction of a complex with
a sports hall with an area of 2,800 sqm and a hotel section (approx. 600 sqm). Other participants of the tender are Mirbud, ZB Tomaszewski, and the consortium of Budex-Sanmel. ■

Alpine Bau makes offer worth 157 million PLN for modernization of Cracovia's stadium. On 26th May, offers were opened in a tender for the modernization of
a football stadium on Kałuży Street in Krakow. The lowest offer, with the price of nearly 157 million PLN, has been made by Alpine Bau. Other candidates for the contract are Budimex Dromex (164.7 million PLN) and Strabag
(178 million PLN). The investment, based on a design by Spanish company Estudio Lamela, is to comprise modernization and extension of a football stadium for at least 15,000 spectators. Realization of the investment is to take 30 months. The price offered by Alpine Bau is lower than the investor's cost estimate by approx. 40 million PLN. ■

Kordbud will supervise, for 1.9 million PLN, extension of clinical hospital in Bydgoszcz. Mikołaj Kopernik University Collegium Medicum will order a contract worth 1.9 million PLN gross to the company Korbud concerning the function of substitute investor on the extension and modernization of the University Hospital on Marii Curie-Skłodowskiej Street in Bydgoszcz. Documentation of the investment, the cost of which is estimated at 220 million PLN, has been prepared by Bydgoszcz based Projprzem. The investment will be finalized in 2012. ■

Villart has won contest for designing medical center with area of 36,000 sqm in Wrocław. The consortium established by the companies Villart and Haras has won
a contest for the development of an architectural concept of a hospital in Wrocław-Złotniki. The second prize was awarded to Katowice based office Czora&Czora, and the third to the consortium of Warsaw based company Grupa 5 and Irish company Scott Tallon Walker LTD Architects. Other participants of the contest were APA Kuryłowicz, PM Group, Hubka Art, Tektura, Sygma, Modulor, Miastoprojekt Wrocław and Predom.

The investment will comprise the construction of
a 4-story complex with 550 beds, with area of approx. 36,000 sqm, out of which 25,000 sqm will be taken up by the medical section, and 11,000 sqm by the administrative and technical section. The cost of the investment is estimated at 300 million PLN. ■

Skanska will build medical center with cubature of 70.000 meters3 in Warsaw. Świętej Rodziny Gynecology and Obstetrics Hospital in Warsaw has chosen the offer by Skanska in a tender for the construction of the shell structure of an extension of medical center on Madalińskiego Street. Other participants of the tender are Strabag, Mostostal Warszawa, Warbud and Budimex Dromex. A 7-story building with a cubature of 70,000 meters3 will be based on the design by Pramed. The cost of the investment is estimated at over 30 million PLN. ■

Contractor for modernization of monastery complex in Lublin, worth 15 million EUR, will be chosen in July. 25th June is the deadline for submitting offers with
a deposit of 400,000 PLN, concerning the renovation of
a complex of historical monastery buildings with an area of 8,500 sqm and cubature of 46,000 meters3 on Peowiaków Street in Lublin. The buildings will hold seats of the Cultural Center, Municipal Public Library, and Art Exhibitions Office. Design documentation for the investment worth approx. 15 million EUR has been prepared by Krakow based office Czegeko. The works should be finalized by the end of August 2010. ■

The estimated cost of the investment, the completion of which is to take 22 months, will amount to 60 million PLN, out of which the construction and assembly works will consume approx. 32 million PLN. ■

Twenty six offers were submitted in a tender issued by the University Children's Hospital in Krakow regarding the construction of the Central Surgery Ward. Budimex makes offer with price of over 23 million PLN for construction of sports center in Warsaw. In the past few days, offers were opened in a tender for general contracting for the extension of Lotnictwa Polskiego High School, along with the construction of a roofed swimming pool and sports hall on Lindego St. in Warsaw. The complex, designed by Katowice based office Neoinvest, will be comprised of buildings with a total area of 8,200 sqm. The lowest offer for the investment, with the price of nearly 23.2 million PLN gross, has been made by Budimex Dromex. Last year in February we informed that the lowest offer (47.8 million PLN) for the realization of the investment had been made by the consortium established by Tiwwal.

In the current tender for the contract, participants also include the consortium of Mostostal Warszawa and Chemobudowa Kraków (24.6 million PLN). Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex (25.2 million PLN). Zambet

The investment, designed by APA Archis, will comprise the construction of a complex with a total area of 4,000 sqm (2,400 sqm of usable area) and cubature of 20,600 meters3. The value of the construction works is estimated at

The best offer, with the price of over 25 million PLN, has been presented by the consortium of Instal Białystok and Promont. Architekt Kaczmarczyk office has made the lowest offer, with the price of 720,000 PLN gross, in a tender for the modernization design of prof. A. Instal Lublin will carry out works, worth ca. 21.5 mln PLN, on construction of Legia stadium in Warsaw. Instal Lublin has announced that on 25th May, they acquired a sub-contracting contract from Polimex Mostostal, regarding the construction of cooling systems and ventilation at the stadium on Łazienkowska Street in Warsaw. The contract, worth nearly 21.5 million PLN gross, is to be carried out by 5th January 2011. ■

Dom z Klasą office has made the lowest offers in two tenders for the development of a modernization design of the medical center on Spacerowa Street in Morawice (Świętokrzyskie Voivodship). Nizio Design will design extension of museum in Michniów, worth 22 million PLN. Warsaw based office Nizio Design International has won an architectural contest issued by the Kielce Countryside Museum (Muzeum Wsi Kieleckiej) concerning the extension and modernization of a complex of buildings in Michniów (Świętokrzyskie Voivodship). The planned investment is to comprise the construction, for 22 million PLN gross, of the Mausoleum of Polish Countryside Martyrology. The value of architectural works will amount to approx. 700,000 PLN. ■

Consortium of Grupa 3J and Tehand will extend hospital in Chełmża for nearly 15 million PLN. The consortium of companies Grupa 3J and Tehand has been chosen in a tender for the construction of a new wing for the District Hospital on Szewska Street in Chełmża (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship). The value of the offer amounted to over 14.98 million PLN gross and was higher by 13,000 PLN from the price offered by the company Drager. The design of the building with an area of 2,900 sqm has been prepared by Grudziądz based Design Construction Studio. The investment is to be finalized by 31st December 2010. ■

Construction of swimming pool-sports complex with area of 2,400 sqm is being prepared in Zduńska Wola. The authorities of Zduńska Wola (Łódzkie Voivodship) are getting ready for the construction of a complex comprised of a roofed swimming pool and artificial ice rink in the area of Piwna and Kobusiewicza streets. The design of the investment has been prepared by the Pro-Arch 2 office from Czechowice-Dziedzice. Currently, the self-government is applying for administrative consents. The investment will comprise the construction of a complex with a usable area of approx. 2,400 sqm. ■

District Hospital in Zabrze seeks contractor for modernization of surgery wards for 10 million PLN. Until 25th June, District Hospital in Zabrze (Śląskie Voivodship) will be collecting offers with a deposit of 130,000 PLN concerning modernization of surgery wards on Zamkowa Street. Gorzów based PWSZ seeks architect for training center with area of over 3,000 sqm in Rogi. 27th May is the deadline for submitting offers with a deposit of 20,000 PLN concerning the development of a modernization design of a historical palace in Rogi (Lubuskie Voivodship). The building with an area of 3,100 sqm and cubature of 12,300 meters3, situated on a land plot with an area of 5.17 hectares, will operate as a Conference-Training Center for the purposes of the State Higher Vocational School in Gorzów Wielkopolski. Studio IN is preparing, for 398,000 PLN, design for modernization of Dramatyczny Theater in Wałbrzych. Wrocław based Studio IN has made the best offer in

SRKAB seeks contract for sports hall with cubature of 16,000 meters3 in Białystok. INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENTS

Hochtief-Apcoa consortium will build 3 parking lots with approx. 1.700 parking spaces in Gdańsk. The consortium of companies Hochtief and Apcoa has won. as the only participant, a tender for the construction of three parking lots in Gdańsk. The city authorities will lease the land plots to the companies that will build and maintain there parking lots with nearly 1.700 parking spaces. The parking lots are to be erected by 2012. ■

Ten companies want to build ring road for Gdańsk. Ten companies have submitted applications concerning admission to tender issued by the Gdańsk Division of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) concerning the construction of the Southern Ring Road for Gdańsk in the course of the S-7 expressway. The companies are: J&P Avax. Dragados. Energopol Szczecin. Bilfinger Polska. Strabag. MSF Moniz da Maia. Skanska. Eurovia. Budimex Dromex and Sando Budownictwo.

The investment will comprise the construction of 18 km of the road between Gdańsk and Koszwały town. The works are to take a year and a half. ■

Hydrobudowa 9 consortium will modernize for 100 mln PLN Czyżkówko water supply station in Bydgoszcz.
On 25th May the consortium of Hydrobudowa 9, Piecobiogaz and Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Wiertniczych Hydropol-Gdańsk signed a contract with the company Miejskie Wodociągi i Kanalizacja (Municipal Water Supply and Sewage Systems Enterprise) in Bydgoszcz concerning the modernization of the “Czyżkówko” Water Supply Station. The works, worth slightly more than
100 million PLN gross, are to take 16 months. ■

Transprojekt will prepare for 3.1 million PLN documentation for extension of DK 4 road. Krakow based company Transprojekt has won a tender for the development of construction designs and updating the executive designs for the modernization of 24 km of National Road No. 4 (DK 4) between Głuchów and Radymno. The value of the contract, ordered by the Rzeszów Division of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA), will amount to
3.1 million PLN gross. ■

Max Boegl makes offer worth 64 million PLN in tender for construction of ring road for Łęknica. Ten offers have been submitted in a tender issued by the Zielona Góra division of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) concerning the construction of
a ring road for Łęknica (Lubuskie Voivodship) in the course of National Road No. 12. The lowest offer, with the price of 63.9 million PLN gross, has been made by the consortium with Max Boegl Polska as leader. Other participants of the tender are the consortia whose leaders are Mota Engil (74.6 million PLN), Strabag (74.9 million PLN), Erbud (72.8 million PLN), ABM Pol-Dróg Legnica (97.2 million PLN), Eurovia (73.6 million PLN), Berger Bau (89.3 million PLN), Polimex Mostostal (75.4 million PLN), Alpine Bau (84.8 million PLN) and Budimex Dromex (78 million PLN). ■

Skanska will extend DK No. 5 road between Trzebnica and Wrocław for 61.8 million PLN. Wrocław Division of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has ordered a contract worth
61.8 million PLN gross to Skanska concerning the extension of National Road No. 5 (DK 5) in the course of 12 km between Trzebnica and Wrocław. Completion of the contract is to take 18 months. ■

Poldim and Budostal-5 will modernize for nearly 37 mln PLN National Road No. 25 in vicinity of Nowy Sącz. Tarnów based company Poldim and Krakow based Budostal-5 have acquired contracts (17.9 million PLN and 19 million PLN. respectively) for the design and modernization of National Road No. 28 in the vicinity of Nowy Sącz (Małopolskie Voivodship). The works will concern the 6 km long section between Nowy Sącz-Mszalnica-Ptaszkowa. The works are to take 13 months. ■

Drog-Bud and PRDiM will modernize section of road No. 11 for 30 million PLN. The consortium of Częstochowa based company Drog-Bud and Kędzierzyn-Koźle based Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Drogowych
i Mostowych will carry out, within a period of six months, an overhaul of a nearly 12 km long section of National Road No. 11 (DK 11) between Twaróg and Tarnowskie Góry. The value of the contract, ordered by the Katowice Division of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA), amounts to app. 30.3 million PLN gross. ■

DEVELOPERS AND CONTRACTORS

Stal Consortium has signed contract worth 43 mln PLN for supplying constructions of stadiums. Stal Consortium has acquired three contracts, worth a total of app. 43 mln PLN, for supplying raw materials for the construction of three stadiums. The contract which concerns the outlet in Warsaw, estimated at 22.4 mln PLN, will be completed by mid 2010, the one in Wrocław (over 11.7 mln PLN) by April 2010 and the one in Gdańsk (over 8.8 mln PLN) by the end of March 2010. ■

PKP is seeking designer for modernization of Gdynia Główna Train Station. 29 June was set as the deadline for submitting bids with a tender deposit of 105,000 PLN, for the design and authorial supervision of the reconstruction of the Gdynia Główna train station complex. The modernization of the complex, consisting of a main building with an area of 7,700 sqm, a connector and platforms of the suburban railway, is planned to be completed in March 2012. ■

Deka has purchased from AIG Grzybowska Park office building with area of approx. 10,000 sqm in Warsaw. Deka Immobilien has purchased the Grzybowska Park office building, located on Grzybowska Street in Warsaw, from AIG Lincoln. The outlet, put to use last year (general contractor PORR), has an area of over 9,500 sqm of office space and approx. 800 sqm of retail space. ■
