Equipment meet all of your needs for effi cient

paper logistics: The specially designed frames

with closely spaced cross beams and the fl oor

capable of bearing a max. stacker axle load of 9 t

to DIN EN 283 provide the solid basis. The paper

rolls can be secured upright, longitudinally or lying

crosswise. Four full-length Joloda rails with

integrated perforation grids simplify the load

handling and enable you to precisely position the

locking wedges. The exterior frame is equipped

with lashing eyes along its entire length and

13 pairs of retractable lashing rings.

Load Securing for Heavy Freight.

The S.CS with COIL equipment load securing concept is designed for heavy loads. The exterior frame

is equipped with load-securing holes along its entire length and 10 x 2 lashing eyes with max. 2 t tensile

load and optionally 10 x 2 heavy-load eyes with max. 4 t tensile load. 4 pairs of coil combi-supports

expand the range of load securing options.

Free crane loading via opened sliding roof.

The fully galvanised trough holds the steel coils in place. The 28 mm thick trough cover provides the cargo

area with a smooth fl oor for general cargo transport.

All of the frame components are hot galvanised

prior to assembly. Aluminium components are

cathodic dip coated. This also reliably protects

material contact points on the frame against

corrosion. We prove our quality standard with

a 10 year no-rust guarantee. The bolted

construction of the frame eliminates thermal

stresses and ensures precision dimensions

and perfect tracking. Repairs can be carried

out quickly and without damaging the corrosion

protection by simply unscrewing the bolts and

replacing the damaged parts. This creates

premium quality, payload and weight-optimised

frames. These frames withstand the demands and

the dynamic stresses of general cargo transport

for many years without any loss of structural

integrity.

When fully loaded the total load is correctly

distributed among the axles on the tractor

and the box semitrailer.

Lowering the pneumatic suspension pressure

on the last axle shortens the effective wheelbase

and restores the correct load distribution.

Partially unloading the trailer moves the vehicle's

centre of gravity forwards: The permissible drive axle

load on the tractor is exceeded.

Prevents tyre contact with the curb: The LSP

increases the inner curve radius travelled with

a loaded trailer by up to 10 %.

The optional Load Spread Program prevents

overloading the drive axle after partially unloading

the trailer. It improves the vehicle's handling in

tight curves and reduces tyre wear. Depending on

the axle load the LSP automatically reduces the

pneumatic suspension in the air bellows on the

rear trailer axle and thus restores the correct load

distribution after partially unloading the trailer.

Theautomatic cornering recognition activates

the LSP when driving around tight curves at less

than 30 km/h and with a maximum load of 24 t

on the axle unit. This function also simplifi es

manoeuvring.

LSP provides you with an effect similar to

a self-steering axle. Unloading the last axle

reduces the tyre wear caused by friction

The Multi Ride Height (MRH) pneumatic

suspension ensures that the tyres have the best

possible contact with the road surface in every

driving situation, regardless of the loading

condition. The fi fth wheel height is easily adjusted

and the precise reactions of the suspension and

the damping protect both the load and the vehicle.

The position on the I-beams behind the axle unit

protects the compressed air reservoir against

damage and shortens the hose lengths.

The Multi Ride Height (MRH) pneumatic suspension ensures that the tyres on all of the lowered axles have

the best possible contact with the road surface in every driving and loading condition. The curtainsider semi-

trailer can be steplessly lowered when loading and unloading. This effectively dampens vehicle vibrations and

thus reduces the long-term wear on the frame.

The Equipment Details.

Full Flexibility for Beverage Logistics and General Cargo Transport.

The Schmitz Cargobull curtainsider semitrailers

come with the DIN EN 12642 (Code XL) load

safety certifi cate enabling you to effi ciently utilise

your trailers for both general cargo and beverage

logistics. The reinforced safety roof, the reinforced

central stanchions, four rows of aluminium support

laths and the high-strength tarpaulin with 24 belt

tensioners eliminate the need for tensioning

belts when loading interlocking freight.

When transporting beverage crates on well

pallets the sides are interlocked using the

swivelling support laths. The sliding roof and

the easily movable stanchions provide optimal

access to the cargo area when loading the return

freight via stacker or crane.
