We are a company which manufactures and markets two types of battery-driven electric vehicles: short-range delivery vehicles and one-person cars for disabled people.

We are seeking a supplier of the batteries we use to power our vehicles.

We require 4800 units and delivery must be completed by 15 January 2002. A full specification of our requirements is given on the attached sheet.

Please quote us your best CIF price and five us the shipping date. Before placing an order we would need to have some samples of the batteries to test in our laboratories.

We usually pay by confirmed 60-day irrevocable letter of credit.

There is a good prospect of our placing regular orders if the lab tests go well and you quote us a competitive price.
