CASE REPORT

A twenty seven-year-old women was refer to the dentist with halitosis. The patient also presented complaining of sensitivity in lower teeth.

The oral examination showed significant secondary caries in all lower molars and premolars, decay lesions in other teeth and marginal gingivitis. There was no history of gastrointestinal reflux. Problems resulting from noted bad oral hygiene and untreated caries.

Radiographic examination of patient’s teeth revealed that in upper teeth and lower incisors and canines lesions only just penetrate dentine but in lower premolars and molars decay reach pulp chambers.

The treatment was uneventful and last about 3 months. It involved endodontic treatment of lower posterior teeth and conservative of other teeth.

All complaints retreated. The patient got oral hygiene instruction and recommendation to see dentist two times a year.
