Hi, Sandy. I've found a great hotel for us. When you arrive at the bus station, you'll see the train station straight across the road, and a shopping centre on the right. Go through the shopping centre and straight on past two crossroads until you get to a cathedral. Take the first street on the right after the cathedral, go over a bridge, and the hotel is on the right. It's called The Newlands Hotel.

H: Hello, I'm Hector.

Z: Hello, I'm Zoe. I've just moved in next door.

H: So you're my new neighbour!

Z: Yes, I am.

H: Do you live on your own?

Z: No. I live with my husband, Mike. And we have a four-year-old daughter, Nathalie.

H: Is that your pet cat?

Z: Yes, it is! She's called Snowy.

H: Who's that over there?

Z: Oh, that's my father-in-law.

H: Is he going to live with you, too?

Z: Oh, no. He's helping us move.

H: It's very nice to meet you.

Z: It's nice to meet you, too. Could you tell me about the local state school? Is it any good?

H: Yes, I think so. My niece went there. She was very fond of her teachers. She didn't want to leave!

Z: That's great!

H: Well, see you again soon. I hope you're happy in your new house.

Z: Thank you. By the way, how far is the nearest post office? I need to post some letters.

H: Go down the hill, turn left and go past the park. Turn first right after the church and go to the end of the road. The post office is on the left, opposite the bank.
