Track 18
Sandra: Oh, Tessa, look at you in this one.
Tessa: Oh, that was my sister's fifteenth birthday party. A lot of her friends came.
Sandra: I can see lots of presents. What did she get?
Tessa: I only remember she got lovely flowers from her boyfriend because he brought some chocolates for me too! You know, I was only five then and a bit jealous. So you can see that she let me blow out the candles on her birthday cake.
Sandra: Mm... it looks delicious.
Tessa: My mum made it. She's a great cook.
Sandra: And who's that with you? Your sister?
Tessa: No, that's my cousin, Melanie. She agreed to wear this funny hat! She's great!
Track 19
It was very popular from 1976 until 1979 in England but we can still see punks today. Punks wore old, leather clothes, and had short, spiky hair, sometimes in bright colours. They liked fast, loud music and looked quite scary. However, at the beginning punks weren't usually aggressive. They were more interested in the fashion. Later punks were different because the loud music attracted more violent teenagers.
Track 20
1 Excuse me. What's the time?
2 Do you like chocolate cake?
3 Mark, this is Gail. Gail, this is Mark.
