Track 18
Ben: OK, everyone. Time to finish. Let's have another practice again at Mark's house on Saturday.
Steve: Er, guys. Sorry, I don't know where Mark lives.
Ben: OK, Steve. Do you know Castle Street?
Steve: No. We only moved here two weeks ago. I haven't looked around much.
Ben: OK, I'll draw you a map. You know the bus station?
Steve: Yes, it's opposite the sports centre.
Ben: OK. Come out of the bus station and turn left. Go past a big bank. Then take the first road on your right. Go up that road until the traffic lights and turn left at the church. That's Castle Street.
Steve: OK.
Ben: Mark's house is near the end of the street, on the right. It's number 26… no…, sorry, it's 46.
Steve: Alright. Er, I just remembered that I promised to lend my brother my guitar for his trip on Saturday.
Ben: No problem Steve. Mark has got at least three so you can use one of them.

Natalie: Hi Tessa, have you got your new timetable?
Tessa: Yes, I have. I start at half past eight so I'll have to get up at half past seven. Why can't I start at nine? And Mondays look horrible.
Natalie: Why?
Tessa: Look! Double Maths, History and Science. Science and History are fine but Maths is too boring for Monday mornings. I'd rather start the week with English.
Natalie: Who have you got for French?
Tessa: Someone called Ms Collins. I don't know her.
Natalie: Oh, my cousin knows her. She's the head teacher's wife and she's Canadian.
Tessa: Really?
Natalie: Yes, I hope she's good at French. We've got an exam this year. I'm going to study for it in the library after school on Tuesdays.
Tessa: Great. I'll come too.
Natalie: It's not a good idea, Tessa. We'll chat instead of studying.
Tessa: Don't be so serious. Last year we had such a nice time studying in the park.
Natalie: But I failed the Maths test. You didn't!
Tessa: That's because I had extra lessons.
Natalie: OK. We can go to the library together but no chatting. We could sometimes have a chat in the park or café.

Presenter: Hi, welcome to `Dance Star', the new, exciting dance programme. I'm now talking to Jessica Phillips who is going to be on next week's show. Hi, Jessica, how are you feeling?
Jessica: A bit nervous.
Presenter: What kind of dancing do you do?
Jessica: I do hip-hop dance. I started dancing seven years ago but this show is the most important dance of my life as a dancer.
Presenter: Because you'll be on TV?
Jessica: That and because if I win I'll get a place in a famous dance school in Los
Angeles. Going to that school is my biggest dream. I'll practise more hip-hop and learn a lot about other dance types, like ballet, modern and jazz.
Presenter: Well, good luck. Also on next week's show is Melanie. Melanie, hi. How are you feeling at the moment?
