Dear Mr. Felsing,
Referring to our recent communication over the net I would like to take this opportunity and apply for the job within the Sport 5. Please note that my qualifications might fit your potential requirements perfectly.
Having worked for marketing departments within various textile companies I have learnt the importance of being able to work at an exceeded pace so as to meet crucial deadlines or fulfill the expectations of a client. The same applies to my willingness to travel should the necessity arise. The combination of the two might be a benefit to Sport 5 given the characteristics of the Polish sports market.
As a marketing manager I have learnt to approach the market from the perspective of business opportunities rather than simple procedures. I tend to have the “feeling” of a market potential. The same might apply to the chances in sport, the area that has always been my greatest passion. In fact, sport is not only my hobby. In 1992 I won the second place in the Junior Football Championships of Poland. Even though some health complications stopped me from continuing a professional football career, sport has remained my companion up to the present moment. I strongly believe that my unique combination of passion for sport and marketing knowledge will become a great advantage to Sport 5.
I also would like to stress my interpersonal abilities. Throughout many years of professional career I took part in countless negotiations with key clients. Some of them were later finalized by commercial contracts. One of the examples includes signing a vital contract with Makro Cash and Carry that dramatically helped Próchnik S.A. in its worst time of a market slowdown. Communicating and winning new people should be of great importance given the nature of the Polish sport market.
I would like to add that it is a great pleasure for me to have an opportunity to apply for the position at Sport 5 as I have always planned to work for a professional company that links business with sport. I am ready and willing to bring in all my unique capabilities including passion for sport, knowledge of the field, creativity and hard work.
