Adobe Photoshop 5.0
Pentium or higher computer with 16MB of RAM.
Load the KewlPack #1 Action Set with the Actions palette, and run in button mode only.
Follow onscreen instructions.
This Action works best if you can do the following:
Create an RGB file. Any size is fine—although it is always best to start about twice the final size or 200HX600W—when you reduce it down, the image will be sharper. Set resolution to 72ppi for best results.
Create a new type layer with your black text – Medium weight Sans Serif type seems to look best overall (Arial, Avant Garde, Myriad, etc.).
The size of the type should be moderately large in comparison to the image area. Leave a margin of at least 50 pixels around effect area.
Optional: Select a photograph (or create a background) which is not too busy. The distortions and reflections of the Action will make a mess if there is too much detail or if image is too dark. Place this on the Background layer.
Glassium will create a couple of small “.PSD” files on your hard drive. They will be in the “c:\” directory. You can delete them after you rename your Glassium Final image results.
You may also use a two tone gradient background for a simpler, elegant effect.
