center. Place the other smali loop under-neath at a slight angle making a criss cross. Gather as before.

Choose rlbbon width according to slze of finished bow desired.

Cut ribbon lengths: one 4" (5") for cylinder, two 11” (16”), two 13” (18”), two 15” (20”). and one 18” (22”) for taił. Notę: You may have a few inches of ribbon left over that will not be used for this bow.
Form a cylinder with 4” (5”) length overlapping ends Vz". Glue or staple to secure.
Set aside ribbon for taił.
Form a circle with eachofthe 6 lengths of rlbbon. Overlap ends Vz" and bring the over!apped ends to the center of the other side of the circle. Staple at center to secure.
Place thumbs inside smali cylinder with fingers at seam. Push towards center, gathering as you go. Keep holding tightly in one hand.

Add the medium and large loops remember-ing to criss cross each set of loops.
Pick up the long length of ribbon at the center. Gather it and add łt underneath all loops.
Push wlre or chenille stem through cylinder.
Bring ends of wire or stem to back of bow and hołd tight. Puli thumb out and twist bow round and round to secure. (I find that twisting the bow makes a tighter bow than trying to twist the wire or stem.)
