Measure 8¹/?" (15") on longer length of nar-rower ribbon and form a circle. Hołd circle with thumb and finger and continue circling to form a second (third) circle. Ends will overlap about 1".

Form the loops. cut narrow "V" notches, secure with wire and separate loops as before.

Wire this bow to center of first bow.

Lay Vz (Vj) yard of narrower ribbon CENTERED LENGTHWISE over Vz (%) yard of wider ribbon. Fold (do not crease) rib-bons m half with narrow ribbon on outside. 1" from fold, gather and wrap tightly with

Twist tails so that right sides are facing you.

Attach tails to front of double bow by wrap ping wires at tho same place as before. Ad-just loops and cut tails as dcsired

Two different ribbon widths needed:

2 yards No. 5 ribbon and 2 yards No. 40 ribbon OR

2 yards No. 9 ribbon and 2 yards No. 40 ribbon Tie wire

Lay No. 5 or No. 9 ribbon centered lengthwise on top of No. 40 ribbon. Hołd the two ribbons together and work as one as you make this bow.

4V4" from one end. gather ribbon and hołd botween thumb and finger. Be surę right side of ribbon is facing you and short taił is pointed toward floor.

Use the next 9" of ribbon to make a 4V4" loop, looping ribbon AWAY from you. Slip it between thumb and finger, gathering ribbon as you form loop.

Slip gather in beside (not on top of) each other as you go. Be surę to keep right side of ribbon on outside of loops.

Use the next 9" of ribbon to make a 4Yz" loop, looping ribbon TOWARD you. Com-plete loop as before.

Continue making loops AWAY from and TOWARD you, koeping the right side of ribbon on outside of loops. until 6 loops are completed.

Place tie wire under your thumb with one end extending approximately 2" beyond thumb. Bring wires to back of bow. Hołd tie wire tightly and twist bow to secure.

Cut tails to 2" length.
