Gauge 20 sts and 27 rows = 4" in striped rib patt on Iarger needles.
BACK
With Iarger needles and orange, CO 81 (91, 101, 111, 121, 131) sts. Change to MC and, foli stripe seąuence (see Stitch Guide), work Rows 1-8 of striped rib patt until piece measures about 14" from CO, ending with WS Row 8 (4 complete reps of 24-row stripe sequence). Change to MC and work in striped rib patt without changing colors until piece measures 15'/2" from CO, ending with a WS row. Shape armholes: BO 3 (4, 5, 6, 7, 8) sts at beg of next 2 rows, then 2 (3, 4, 5, 6, 7) sts at beg of foli 2 rows, then dec 1 st each end of next 4 (5, 6, 7, 8, 9) RS rows—63 (67,
71, 75, 79, 83) sts rem. Work even in patt until armholes measure 4 (4‘/2, 5, 5, 5,
5l/2)", ending with a WS row. Shape neck: Mark center 9 (9, 9, 13, 13, 13) sts. Next row: (RS) Keeping in patt, work to center marked sts, join new yarn and BO center sts, work to end—27 (29, 31, 31, 33, 35) sts rem each side. Working each side sępa-rately, at each neck edge BO 3 sts 3 times, then 2 sts 3 (4, 4, 4, 4, 5) times—12 (12,
