4. Fuli pattern and layout for Fig 2
The patterns are shown on 150 cm wide cloth folded lengthways. Front hem is 63 cm wide, the Back hem 68 cm, giving a total hem width of 262 cm. For a wider hem either add width at the CB or add an equal amount to all seams.
Back - Extend the bodice construction (SG) linę to hem level and mark off the Waist to floor measurement, here 107 cm.
Centre the hem width, here 68 cm, on the construction linę. Draw the CB linę from hem to waist and the side seam linę from hem to hip curve, using the thin side lines on the bodice, Fig 3, as a guide to flaring. Mark off the hem curve by measuring the Waist to floor length from several points on the waist.
Front - Repeat the process for the Front, but plan the hem width slightly off centre, here 29 cm towards CF and 34 cm towards the side seam linę.
No additional hem allowance is needed; the Waist to floor length, when turned up, will lift the hem elear of the ground. Cut out the completed patterns, ready for laying on the cloth. Make surę that the side seams on both Front and Back are the same length and are cut on the same angle. Mark the end of the front opening (FO) at hip level.
For smali sizes, you can cut both sleeves from the spare fabric on the left. For larger sizes, open out the fabric after cutting the Front, and cut one sleeve from the spare fabric. Cut the other sleeve similarly from the spare of the Back.
