FITTING THE RADIO

With the ignition switched off, unclip the radio oover from the dasbboard. Separate the aerial cable from it.

Connect the special radio harness:

-    part    number:    77    01    419    0^0    for    fitting the    radio with    front    speakers;

-    part    number:    77    01    420    375    for    fitting the    radio with    front    and rear speakers;

-    part    number:    77    01    421    556    for    the PIONEER    radio;

to the    red MIC    connector    on the righthand aide in the radio housing (1).

Secure the metal sleeve supplied with the set in the radio housing.

If the radio has the earlier type of face DIN 75500 use raounting part number:

77 01 409 085.

Screw in the locking pin supplied or a 12.3 mm diameter rubber pin whioh mu3t be 165 ras away from the bearing face so as to hołd the rear part.

Conneot the harness mentioned above and the aerial oable (2) to the radio.

The 3 mm terminal supplies a permaneot + . It is advi$able to insulate it if it is not used.

Fit the radio set in place, puahing the harness to the righthand side, towards the back of the housing.
